Third party would make us irreverent and the laughing stock of politics and doom the liberty movement. Ron would never have them print up $39 million federal reserve notes for a vanity run. Thank heavens Ron is more sensible and has his ego in check before he pulls that stunt.

It would be to preserve actual representation of the people who voted for him who are disenfranchised by the RNC.

I didn't say he would do it, but it is certainly what I would prefer.

And I couldn't care less if those 'in politics' laugh. We aren't in this for politicians.

Based on some of the things Doug Wead has said, and some of the things Ron Paul has not specifically said regarding an independent run, some in the party consider it a real threat for Ron Paul to break off, even now. They already played the VP card to get a bump in the polls, and that is gonna be short-lived. They are counting on this convention to give them another, but if Ron Paul makes such an announcement, he will upstage the GOP at a critical point in their campaign.

Sounds good to me. There should damned well be a price to pay for disenfranchising us and removing our voice (Ron) at convention.

I've been to every Doug Wead Facebook Live event and they are horrible. He knows nothing about what's going on. We all know 100x more then he does. He has nothing to do with the campaign anymore.

+1. He'll chuckle nervously, filibuster, act like his internet connection is running slowly as he tries to look something up, and then say something meaningless. Plus the woman feeding him the questions picks either softballs or weird stuff.
