The Obama bin Clinton and Rudy McRomneysonabee fiends are spinning our Tea Party success (DIGG) with the idea that we planned to reach $10 mil and didn't... So let's not give them any excuses next time! Let's set a chain of small goals we can reach one by one, and keep it realistic!
I think the goal of this final-day moneybomb should be to beat Romney's Q1 record of $21,084,634. We just passed $18.3 mil for Q4, so would need a $2,784,634 moneybomb on Dec 31st to do that, just below the proposed 28,000 * $100, and that number will drop significantly by then. This will mean we've raised more money than any other Republican in any quarter, and unlike our opponents we didn't have to sell our souls to the devil to do it!
If and when we reach that goal, we'll announce the next milestone goal, which is to beat the $21,343,291 Obama raised in Q3. If we come a little short, we'll have plenty of good excuses, including the money that was donated to unofficial venues like the blimp!
[If a miracle takes place and we're doing super-good, we can then raise the bar to $25,797,722 (Obama in Q1), $27,021,358 (Clinton in Q2), $27,859,861 (Clinton in Q3), $33,120,440 (Obama in Q2), and $36,054,569 (Clinton in Q1)... But that's looking too far ahead, we'll beat those higher numbers in Q1 of 2008!]

I've also seen suggestions for a money bomb on the 1st and on the 3rd.
Most of my friends are likely to be sober on the 31st and passed out until the 2nd, so I like this New Year's Eve one, better.
Having a money bomb on the 3rd would give good reports no matter what results in Iowa. Something to think on.

We could have a flash paul-o-meter rising up to $20M total.

Since the goal of the 31st fund raiser is to get the fourth quarter fund over the 20 million mark and not try and set a new one day record, why not have it over the two day period of the 30th and 31st? I have already made my pledge for the 31st but I want to make sure that I donate in this quarter.

Bump The Blimp
We need to have 350,000 each month donated for the blimp. This is important if the mainstream media is going to continue to ignore us. This is a great way to get some radio coverage even if the television does not report on it.
Right now the blimp does not have enough money to stay in the air very long at all. If anyone who is maxed out wants to help they need to know that the blimp donations don't count to your max.

I think that with $20 Million Ron Paul has enough money to take him to super Tuesday. Its time to focus money on more front line issues, the blimp, local ads, chip-ins that support the effort. DVD hand outs.

Yeah, but there's still no tie-in with that particular day, unless we go with the light bulb or Panama Canal ideas... Though I totally agree with the $20M goal and driving force...

Dude.....it's new years eve and the last day of the quarter.
And since it is to break 20 mil for the quarter...that's all the reason I need.
In this case, and I have not read every thread here, I am for a push to a goal, but, think a 'money bomb' is a bad idea. Just set up a daily update email.
