Donald Trump has a teeny, tiny base

Refugee visas are a specific type of visa, given in tiny quantities. This has no impact on normal immigration from these countries.

He didn't just say visas.

I’m very concerned about immigration to this country from countries that have hotbeds of jihadism and hotbeds of this Islamism. There was a program in place that Bush had put in place—it stood for entry-exit program from about 25 different countries with a lot of Islamic radicals, frankly. I think there does need to be heightened scrutiny. Nobody has a right to come to America, so this isn’t something that we can say ‘oh their rights are being violated.’ It’s a privilege to come to America and we need to thoroughly screen those who are coming.

Since the head of the FBI said that at least for Syria, there was no way to adequately screen, that in a whole lot of cases, that means no immigration from these countries.

No Rand always backed his statement up by citing real events where they could of done a little digging and caught the guys before they even got here.

How did he split his money four ways?? When Trump took over his dads business and inherited it before he died when it was worth 200 million and they did not liquidate the business?

For Donald Trump, Lessons From a Brother’s Suffering
Then came the unveiling of Fred Sr.’s will, which Donald had helped draft. It divided the bulk of the inheritance, at least $20 million, among his children and their descendants, “other than my son Fred C. Trump Jr.”

When did they liquidate the 200 million dollar Real estate business, that Donald Trump had taken full control? Why didn't all 4 turn out to be billionaires then? Trump is just that much of a genius with money?

Again nit picking. He built some of that 200 million.

No his father built the company and the wealth, Trump inherited it. i'm not saying he didn't deserve to inherit it. It's not like bill gates which pretty much copied Xerox's user interface and marketed personal computers under his own company. In a way though Bill gates did more to earn the money though, even though he stole the idea, he owned it.

My estimate of Trump's wealth is half what it actually is. So 10 billion divided by 200 million (which is not even grossly accurate) divided by 4 again (the estate went to more than 4 people in the story I quoted) is actually TWO HUNDRED times the amount.

Pretend it's 5 billion again. 200 split by more than 4 heirs is 100 hundred times.

Pretend Trump is the sole heir, and furthermore pretend he only has 5 billion, and his father died in the 70s and not in the late 90s after Trump made most of his money. It's still TWENTY TIMES as much by every worst estimate and wrong figure you created. Your statement is still wrong that Trump inherited most of his money from his father.

If Trump just had twice as much and one dollar, he did not inherit most of his money from his father; so considering the actual figures, your statement is grossly wrong. It smacks of envy against rich people just because they are rich.

If he would of liquidated his dads company, invested 40 million into index funds he could of actually gave his family part of the business too, and he would have 10 billion. Hell They could of all 4 invested their money into index funds and gotten 10 billion each. Don't get me started on inflation 200 million in what was that like 1970 dollars converted into 2016..

No figure you have given says Trump inherited his wealth. Every figure you have quoted contradicts your own statements - by A LOT.

You can't successful invest in something without working and earning it.

Contrary to marxist teaching, investing creates wealth, and is actual work, requiring intelligence and skill.

However, investing isn't how Trump earned most of his wealth.

He was given full control over the assets of his dads 200 million dollar business. He even "helped" write his brother out of his dads will.

Index funds is a myth. When he actually runs business he gets to keep and spend much more than just letting his money sit in an index fund.

Here's a verse from the Bible that often is used as an example of what happens to foolish vs diligent heirs to fortunes:

King James Bible
Proverbs 13:11
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

The amount of families that lose their fortunes the next generation is endless in history; being able to keep it, let alone increase by a lot, is very hard - to rise above all your fathers before you.

Ayn Rand, an atheist, noted the same thing about inherited money.

However, Trump didn't inherit the bulk of his money even at that. He earned it.

Donald Trump said:
'Why should we give him medical coverage?

(Donald Trump terminated his nephew's family medical coverage a week after he challenged the will of their father, Fred Trump. "This was so shocking, so disappointing and so vindictive," said niece Lisa Trump, whose son, William, was born 18 months ago at Mount Sinai Medical Center with a rare neurological disorder that produces violent seizures, brain damage and medical bills topping $300,000.)
