Donald Trump Endorse Ron Paul?

Actually, Donald Trump is a big fan of eminent domain. Not sure how RP feels about that, but it's definitely not something I'm for.

This is probably going to be a stupid question, but how was Trump able to give $4000 to one candidate in one quarter?

I thought $2300 was the limit.

Because he is Donald Trump!

You can give up to 4,600 counting your wife/husband.

I was watching FOX News when Trump was speaking. He said something to the effect that the US is in the wrong place (Middle East), meddling with the wrong people (muslims) and the you cannot be the "police of every single place oin the world". He said he knows the FOX hosts wouldn't like what he was saying, but your government doesn't have the money to finance the perpetual war stuff.

I'm paraphrasing of course, but that was the essence of it.

And no, sorry, I don't have a youtube of it :(

I was just thinking to myself that the things Trump usually champions are very similar to Paul's. Never thought this would happen...

Impossible. Donald Trump is a big supporter of Rudy--he's been hosting fundraisers for him.

Trump mention Clinton and Giuliani (both are from New York, btw) but when he described the policies he supported, it was dead on Ron Paul. He acknowledged that we couldnt afford the war and that we should not be in Iraq.

If that were the reason, then $2300 would have to be listed under his wife's name, correct?

I'm sure there is a simple answer here. I just don't know what it is.

When Trump speaks politics, he does support all of Pauls policy's. Makes it very difficult to understand why Trump endorced Rudy, other then if their is some NY buddies favors game going on between them.

2300 for Primary and 2300 for general = 4,600 total

Also Barry Manilow gave 2300 to paul and to 3 democrats.

Some big name people like to cover all thier bases. and give money to people they share ideas with. Trump gives money mainly to New York politicians. you scratch my back, I scratch yours type of deal.

From ronpaul2008.com
"Individuals may contribute up to $2,300.00. Couples may contribute up to $4,600.00. Contributions are not tax deductible. Corporate contributions are prohibited."

So I guess the issue is how it's reported. I figured even if a couple donated over $2300, that it would need to be reported separately, not jointly.

But that probably explains it.

Thanks.

Donny and Rudy are kissing cousins:

Add in Steve and you could have a menage a trois. :D

Rudy expects to take the Northeast with the help of his buddies.
