That's something to worry about, but it's also silly. I mean why infiltrate when Ron has been very open about campaign strategy, financial policy, etc...? If McCain thinks this will garner our support he really is out of his gourd.

Donald Luskin informed us today that he is stepping down as an economic advisor to Ron Paul and signing on to the John McCain campaign.

Two possible reasons for Luskin leaving:

1) He thinks McCain has a shot at winning and wants to work in the white house

or

2) Someone from HQ read him the riot act for not properly dispelling the RP independent run question yesterday on Neil Cavuto's show. So he got mad and left.

I'd guess option 1, but I'd really like to know.

This thread is very negative, but i think alot of people don't understand that we gotta get our hands a little dirty if we want to manipulate the outcome of this election.

Pretty doubtful. I can't see McCain saying "Welcome aboard, here are all our campaign secrets." If RP was going to infiltrate McCain's campaign, he'd find a much less high-profile way of doing it.

You know... I would actually be pretty happy if McCain took on ALL of Dr. Paul's advisers. Infiltrate his campaign with people who actually know what they're doing... or maybe Luskin's a traitor.
