Been reading a ton of economic news lately and all with mostly the same theme: We're F__KED
I'm curious as to how RPF truly views the future in terms of the global economy. There's always a lot of hyperbole and exageration, but how many of you TRULY believe, deep down, that our economy will collapse and we will face another depression/war, possibly WW3?
I value your input, sincerely.
I am about to make some serious fiscal decisions and it's a cognitive disconnect for me that it could actually really all fall apart in the near-future. I'm 33 and have 20 years til retirement in my job. I'm not expecting Soc Security will be around, but I'm starting to wonder if I need to STOP paying into my pension and make other financial arrangements, etc.
What timelines do you work off of? 5 years or 50? How does one cross the mental threshold of KNOWING our economy, and the laws of economics, will force these changes eventually?
