I did not say parenthood was slavery, I implied that the debt that usually comes with parenthood is slavery, especially when the child you are raising was unwanted.

Someone should invent birth control and, failing that, adoption. Failing all of that, someone should come up with some kind of arrangement where families support one another and raise the single, non-repeating "mistake" among extended family, sharing the financial responsibility. Without incentive for it happening again, I would be hopeful that the woman in this hypothetical would take multiple and extensive steps to not become pregnant again, having seen how much work goes into raising a child.

Doctors know as much about medicine as I do ... Those going through med school have been streamlines for years... It's all about the money they pay and the student loans.. Same as attorney's ... Going to school reaps much profit for the school itself. The school could give a damn if the student is proficient is your needs. Then their dues to the Bar Association and the Medical Association. It's all about their dues and annual fees. If they kill you, well ok as long as their dues are paid. If their annual dues are not paid... Katie bar the door... you can then sue and recover.

The filioque is the teaching of the Church! The East may understand it differently, but in a complementary way to that of the West. The East may not sing it in the Creed. But, properly understood, it IS the faith of the Church. If one condemns the filioque, he condemns the whole Western church and he condemns the Eastern church that was in communion with the West! Indeed, he either cuts himself off from the whole Church, or he condemns himself!
