Do you think kerry's record was broken if....

58,000 is half the population of my town  That is a LOT of people. I finally realized that when I went Christmas shoppoing yesterday. It basically is my whole town if you only count those eligible to vote. Insane. I guess it truly shows just how huge the Ron Paul campaign is, but also how huge apathy is too.

Inflation may have surged, but our paychecks are the same. I'd say based on our income and the sacrifice required by us, we beat him.

Kerry

Kerry was an elitist pig- that's why I proudly voted for George W. Bush even though he really sucked too.

I was thinking about it in terms of gold. John K received 19000 oz (roughly) of gold donated to him, Ron Paul only received 10000 oz (roughly) of gold. So John K is still beating the hell out of us. :( but as others said, real income hasn't budged, and has actually gone down for the lower class, so its still a good record.

"beating the hell out of us?" He still lost the election! It doesn't matter how much he raised!

Uh no, I'm sure Kerry got those damned Federal Reserve notes just like Ron Paul:p

Just because gas cost 3x what it cost 9 years back, you can't divide your paycheck by 1/3 either to get parity. It does not work by using only one commodity.

If it did, I could compare computers and say that Kerry got 10,000 2.2GHZ 512MB Pentium 4s that day but we got 11,000 2.8GHZ 2,000MB Intel Core 2 Duo - much better!

hehehe, :)

If Dr. Paul does win, however, it will be very very very hard to beat our record, what with no inflation and all!
