Do you all remember November 5th, and then shortly after? I most certainly do, I cannot recall having goosebumps for an entire 24 hour period. I cannot believe I've ever felt that much patriotism, Americanism, hope, courage, being a part of something bigger than me, and most importantly, we were united those days, much, much more than the trend that seems to be now.

I am not saying we're giving up, but it is time for all of us to get out of the mud, to stand once again beside our brothers and sisters. It is time to become louder, stronger, angrier. Let us give Ron Paul another $20 Million, or $30 Million, or even $40 Million. Let us show the world that we will stand and fight to the bitter, cold end.

Look as what has happened in a two short years, we have developed a micro-economy solely based on the contributions of the group. Not only that, we have dumbfounded everyone not in our cause. God Damnit, we have made history, not once, but twice! We have shown the Major Media we WILL be heard, even at the same time they turn their backs completely. Despite their contempt towards OUR great Doctor, how many times have you seen them telling us to stop calling them, to stop emailing them. How many times have you heard them saying the massive number of emails and calls they have received.

Why is it that almost everytime you see anything about a candidate, you see Ron Paul signs in the background? Why is it when McCain came to my city was there 30 Ron Paul supporters waving signs in freezing dark snowing weather? But most, why was there only 3 McCain supporters there braving the cold and holding signs? The only logical answer is that we the only force that is fighting for their liberties. For if we cannot take them back, we may prefer death than what will happen.

We all owe our gratitude to Dr. Ron Paul, but many of us he have given us youth a new found passion of our government, country, history. But inspires us to educate ourselves with the truths? Ask yourself, how many McCain supporters, or Obama supporters, or Clinton supports know about foreign policy, monetary policy, or how economics work? How many of you veterans here found themselves with renewed vigour after hearing his message? Or the fact that this message is propelling him, and us to a new level, and perhaps a new beginning.

But our fight is not over, we still have a long way until the convention, and an even longer way to a free America. Now is the time to put OUR people in the government. Look at your area, find a position, and if there isn't anyone you agree with, then run. Even if you can't win, we need to run and run as loud as we can. Ron Paul expected a 0 percent chance of winning when he decided to run, even the first time. Can we imagine what he is thinking right now? He's not a frontrunner, but he's a fighter, just like us.

If the doctor looses, then fine, next election we'll give them another one to deal with, and then another, and another. Considering who they are, they will enjoy a long, drawn out war.

As a side note, as this election season draws down, we should seriously consider figuring out a way to thank Ron Paul, on behalf of us all. Perhaps a fundraising and put a statue of him up somewhere. That would be awesome. Permanent memory of the next George Washington. Our Hero, Doctor Ron Paul.

I like the statue idea. Something patriotic and awesome.

Also, I think that we should have a "Thank You" money bomb after this is all over. All donations go directly to Ron Paul. The free market at work, indeed :)

And his own library too!

How about RP dressed as a Minuteman, with a copy of the Bill of Rights in his hand, on the steps in front of his library.......the one full all the documents he will declassify after he takes office.

I have goosebumps after reading your post. Thank you.
I agree 100% with everything you wrote.

Well, mdh here at the forums and over on RonPaulRadio.com, has introduced the idea of a "Ron Paul Institute", to preserve and perpetuate all that Ron Paul stands for - perhaps it could branch out into a more "structured" educational system as well...

Mises has a university. If Lew got enough insistent email, perhaps they could incorporate Ron and his writings into something cool like that.

I love these ideas for our future. I also have a strong feeling we aren't done with this campaign. I know many of you are like me and you have some serious pent up feelings and thoughts looking for the right creative outlet. (other than to canvass my ass off here in Texas!) I wonder what will set us off for our next accomplishment. Maybe it will be Rons' new book. The Revolution: A Manifesto. No telling what will happen once that is released in April. Hopefully something will come along before then too.

I'm all for a statue, that would be motivation for years to come!

I suggested this ages ago and it was shot down. Hell, we should do a serious money bomb and build a "too good to be presidential" library in his home district - and put the statue in front of it.
