weird, today at work i was thinking about how much i wished ron paul taught classes. this statue idea is fantastic actually. the school thing would be hard but possible. a statue somewhere and a yearly meet up of all of us would be great. they wouldn't be able to forget us.
F@#k a statue how bout we create LIBERTY COLLEGE a Private University that will teach most of the normal college classes from a LIBERTY mindset called RON PAUL UNIVERSITY and we can make it a heavy political science college the football team can be the Minutemen or Patriots and we can have a statue of Ron out front
ehhh... liberty : A period, usually short, during which a sailor is authorized to go ashore. blah!!! thats what we get under maritime admiralty jurisdiction.
Do you all remember November 5th, and then shortly after? I most certainly do, I cannot recall having goosebumps for an entire 24 hour period. I cannot believe I've ever felt that much patriotism, Americanism, hope, courage, being a part of something bigger than me, and most importantly, we were united those days, much, much more than the trend that seems to be now.
November 5th, 2007 was the best day of my life so far. Seriously. It was the day when I realized that the revolution is real.
And while it will be a huge accomplishment for another day to outshine November 5th, I'm confident that it's going to happen. Maybe not this month or this year... but certainly within the next decade.
I am 100% for a statue.... this man fights for liberty, as he has for decades now, on a national stage where he was attacked at every turn for simply protecting liberty and the constitution. Far lesser men have seen tributes in their honor.
If not a statue...I am in on anything we can do to honor Ron Paul. If not a statue of him directly...it could also be a sculpture we could donate to some university...perhaps Gettysburg College where Ron Paul attended...the sculpture could be about liberty and dedicated and named after him some way??? Just some thoughts...
