BEing investigated for a crime is not the same thing as being hanged for it. One can make a return from an investigation but not from a hanging. I don't think there is any evidence that Trump helped himself from obstructing justice, if anything, the reckless man was worse off from doing obstruction. How could he be colluding with the Russians when he was to TV calling for Russia to hack Clinton's email while the Russian govt were busy denying that they ever hacked the DNC. The Russians would be crazy working with a loud mouth buffon such as Trump.

BEing investigated for a crime is not the same thing as being hanged for it. One can make a return from an investigation but not from a hanging. I don't think there is any evidence that Trump helped himself from obstructing justice, if anything, the reckless man was worse off from doing obstruction. You are kidding right? The democrats won the house with this fake investigation and now are calling to impeach him with this investigation. This isn't a fair trial this isn't innocent until proven guilty. Clinton started this rumor during 2016 election and said he was guilty before they even investigated based on the Steele Dossier.

You obstruct justice by getting the way of an investigation and for Trump, get in the way of it so that in the end, he is worse off than before he obstructed justice. He is the president, his people run the DoJ, his people appointed Mueller, I will continue to say that he did not have to do anything and he would have still been found not guilty. I would say it again, there is no way the Russians would engage in a secretive plot with a lound mouth like Trump. The man joining with the establishment and blaming them for a crime they were actively trying to deny.

Think of it this way, imagine a man is falsely accused of rape he did not committ. He can obstruct justice by intimidating the accuser or maybe even stealing the rape kit. Yes, you can obstruct justice out of fear and ignorance even though you are guilty of the underlying crime. I was replying to Danke's comment which suggested that Trump had to do what he did because he was about to be hanged. I say that he wasn't about to be hanged, he is not a normal citizen and he could have skated if he just shut his pie hole up and did what the lawyers tld him to do.

Justice is not going to jail or being punished for something you never did. How do you obstruct yourself from being punished for something you never did by attempting (in his view) to shield himself (from what he considers) being treated unfairly. You have to have an intent to shield yourself from being punished for wrongdoing that you are guilty of in order for it to be obstruction of justice otherwise its an abortion of justice.

in my opinion people who don't commit crimes can't obstruct justice.
