Digg the Debate's Time Allotment to the Candidates!

Half of his time was spent on rebuttals, rather than getting to speak his own mind. :(

It did not feel like 7 minutes to me. Felt like Tancredo got equal or more time than Paul.

Don't they all pay a hefty fee to enter the debate? The campaign said it was $25,000 to get into the first debate.

I wish Dr Paul would demand equal time, not just let them run over him.

It seemed like Tancredo had more than 4 minutes, it must have been that extra pwning on McCain that gave Paul more than they had planned on giving him.

Tancredo got called on a lot, that's why it seems like he got a lot of time - but Tancredo was very short with what he said each time.

Wow, Mitt spoke twice as much as RP? It felt like he talked at least 4x more.

It was cracking me up every time Mitt would get asked a tough question he'd pout for a second,

" wugh, Well that's just not true as Governor I did... " etc etc

still annoying seeing Paul skipped OVER, and Over

Geez. that means there was 3 minutes of rebuttal time, 2 minutes of actually answering questions, and 2 minutes waiting on people to stop cheering during his answer.

As Ron Paul said about CNN:

"It's private property and they have the right to be biased."

Awesome.

Why the hell does he get less than McCain who can't raise money and is polling lower than RP now?

That's part of the problem. The other campaigns are making demands before they appear at these debates. Everything from time allotment to stage positioning to the types of questions asked are negotiated before they agree to participate. And don't for a second rule out some of them demand to know at least a few of the questions before hand in order to craft witty, "spontaneous" replies.

I bet the people at CNN think that is about right for where Dr. Paul is at in the polls. Sorry, but from their perspective I doubt they think this is unfair treatment.

I would agree, but for what was given to McCain... I mean, his campaign is in DEBT for goodness sakes lol
