I never do. It always seems that most people that I know who do, either get the flu or get sick more often than I do throughout the year. I can't even remember the last time I had the flu.

I haven't had a needle in my arm for any purpose other than drawing blood since I was 7 years old.

This, along with the fact that I grew up on well water, is probably what I have to thank for still having two brain-cells to rub together.

Never again in my life. The few years I've gotten it I've come down with a vicious flu that year, the years I have not I never get sick. I do not get sick very much and I usually kill what I do get very quickly.

The years I've gotten the shot are the years I've been the sickest I've ever been.

I've only had one flu shot in my life and only because my boss pressured me into it when my company paid to have a mobile flu shot clinic come to our office building. Even back then I was wary of the flu shot but didn't know why. That was about 12 yrs ago. It gave me mild flu symptoms. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't take a shot if they paid me. I can't even remember the last time I had the flu....or even been really sick except for an occasional short lived sniffles and sore throat.

Nope..the only time I got one...I got the flu. Now they bug me to get pneumonia and shingles shots.

The doctor is really pressuring us because we have a newborn. He even went as far as ordering the shots without our permission and had the nurse tell us to come in for them. Thanks, but no thanks.

The only time I've had the flu is when I get the shot.

Last flu I had was 1979. I was in bed for a full month and decided enough was enough. Never been sick since. Never had a flu shot, nor will I ever get one. Woe be unto anyone attempting to force it on me - hasn't happened yet, but the day's still young.

Flu shots are weird and stupid. I never get sick anyway. The last time I had the flu was when I was pregnant (and it had been years since I'd been sick when I got that bug). I was down for a couple days, fever, aches. Now my twins are 9 months old, and neither of them has been sick once yet.

I agree, time to find a new doctor. That would make me very angry. While I was pregnant, I kept getting offered flu shots and pertussis too, and my doctor also said the whole family should get pertussis. I declined, and she didn't make a big deal of it at least. But it was annoying how the nurse would ask at every appointment.

Time to fire this doctor.

not a chance - ever

hubby used to get them every year - damn military/VA health care
now he tells the VA that the air force gave it to him..and vice versa
they also pester him with pneumonia shots - and something else too.. can't recall what though

I also get asked about tetnis shots - however that's spelled - also not getting that one.

Get shot or lose job, thanks to obamacare. deadline Nov. 1st. Waiting 'till last day.

Also, join employers "wellness" program or pay $30 more per month for health insurance. I'll pay the extra.

Fuckers.
