Did Huck really say he'd abolish the Constitution in favor of Bible??

I will gladly give up my citizenship if that ever happens.

And that is of course your right... if the country isn't too your liking you can leave. But I wouldn't worry, there is no way Huck is going to win the election, and even if he did he wouldn't be able to amend the Constitution to favor cannon law (unless he is really good at fast talk.)

I suppose even if it occured I would probably stay, Christianty is deeply ingrained in our laws and customs anyway.. doubt we would notice much of a difference.

Canada? I mean they're not perfect but I dont want to move to far away from my family in the US and Mexico is deffinatly out.

Canada is great !!

Move to Montreal, it's better than Europe.. And 90% of the people speak english.. Gorgeous looking people too.. Bruce Willis bought a house here after filming the movie "the whole 9 yards" in Montreal.. And he spends alot of time in the summer in MTL because it's so electric and fun with all the activities.. And no one bothers him here... Heck, there are tons of stars who come here because it's awesome and celebrities aren't bothered like they would be in the states.. Montreal is flooded with Americans in summer (especially from Boston) and they can't stop saying how much they love Montreal

Willis said Montreal is the crown jewel of North America, and he is right! PM me as I have over 700 Montreal pictures like these ones showing everything from the old port of Montreal to the streetlife etc

Check out Quebec city. The absolute best city to visit in North America. Go either in late May or June or in January for Carnival if you don't mind the cold.

fuck the bible

Hey snaFU watch the language. The Bible is not the problem, Huckabee is. I am a evangelical christain and fully disagree with this retarded statement from Huckleberry. You would have to be an idiot to think that you could somehow change peoples morals by changing the constitution.

Can anyone name a country where Taxes are below 8 percent of gdp. If there is such a place I would like to move there.

+1

Claiming you speak for what God's wishes would be for our Country and Constitution is the ULTIMATE in Arrogant.

Big surprise coming from Huckabee. Pandering for the mainstream evangelical vote. Huck likely wouldn't live by it upon election, just as Bush doesn't care much for the constitution.

Despite what the MSM might say, not all evangelicals fall for Huckabee's ideology or language; in fact, there are many in churches around Savannah who are quite leery of the Huckster. That said, if he won the Republican nomination, they would still vote for him (but that could go for anybody).

"Did Mike Hckabee say the other day that we need to scrap the Constitution and replace it so that it complies with teh Bible? - Yes, he did."

No, those aren't his exact words. I read his exact words elsewhere and he didn't say anything different than what every Christian, including Ron Paul, believes. He basically said that the Constitution is an imperfect document that requires amendments in order to make it more in line with God's principles, whereas the Bible is perfect and does not require such amendments. If Huckabee really believed that I'd respect him a lot more. A person who thinks the way to improve the Constitution when it is flawed is by the legal process of amending it is a person who respects it. This is vastly different from someone who believes the Constitution can be ignored when convenient and gotten around by legal loopholes. I fear that, in truth, Huckabee actually fits the latter approach and not the former, despite his words.
