I've always liked Stephen. I consider him one of my few heroes. However, last night I felt disappointed in him.
He was discussing how the candidates had been making politcal ads directed at the Latino community (I'm one of them), and he said that one candidate wasn't showing his: so Stephen made Ron Paul an ad. I can't find a link to it.
If you didn't see it, it kind of seemed like an attack ad. I don't even know why Colbert did it.
Hasn't Ron Paul received enough negative attention? Or should I be content with the fact that Colbert is still discussing him?
I liked Stephen's segment about Ron Paul complaining about future events last Thursday, but I thought that this one was in poor taste. I don't even think the audience liked it that much.
And this after Jon Stewart says that a McCain-Obama election would be a "nice tonic" for America.
I said it before and I'll say it again, the fake media has turned into the "real" media. I hope this is related to the writer's strike. I still have hope for these comedy shows.
All in all, I'm down one less hero. Not cool, Stephen.
