Devestating story on drudge...

I had only head about the "95% of blacks are dont have sensible political opinions", and about how they're criminals and how almost every black in D.C. is semi criminal. The explanation I heard was that all those quotes appeared in a single 1992 newsletter which was written by a ghostwriter.

But the ghostwriter excuse sounds shaky if the offenses were spread out by this much.

The point is Ron Paul has never said anything raciest or even hinted toward anything raciest in all of the speeches of his that I have watched (which is a boatload).

In fact, he has said the exact opposite on Moyer.

Listen to the man, not the people trying to digg stuff up on him.

campaign needs to respond with a press release

40 minutes already and nothing from them come on

Where are they, after yesterdays Tucker they should have already been preparing one...
Don't they realize that staying silent is the kiss of death, it makes them appear guilty.

But if he lets his subordinates cause trouble and mismanage things using his own name, how is he any better of an overseer than Bush?

I was always under the impression that it was a one time thing and the writer was fired. If it was acutally spead out over decades, what was RP's reason for letting it happen? This is way worse than I thought.

Ron Paul needs to say who wrote these things. I agree with that. He's a principled man, but this is damning even if he didn't say it which I believe him when he says he didn't.

I'm also pissed off at Drudge for running this bullshit story without doing research.

I want to scream so bad I wish I wasn't at work..

Who reads Drudge?

Who from the majority of the population who'se going to go out and vote actually reads Drudge?

It's only a problem if it breaks out in to television.

Quit panicking like children. The campaign doesn't have to do anything to draw negative attention and doubt to Ron Paul unless TV run with the smears.. sheesh.

Pete

The majority of people may not read Drudge, but a majority of News organizations do.

lame

well... can't get to the TNR piece. but the quotes in pajamas media, for the most part seem pretty benign. at least one can easily imagine a context that would make them seem a lot less inflammatory.

eg. i don't know the context of the MLK quote, so all i can do is speculate. but it sure doesn't sound like "MLK was a gay pedophile". it says he "seduced underage boys and girls." you can seduce children ideologically without being a gay pedophile....

Yes, and they have to be extremely careful of what they report due to legal repercussions.

I sent a letter,

EMAIL: [email protected]

I didn't use Ron Pauls name just initials so hopefully it wont get filtered.

I consider these attacks as very revealing. It's clear who is interested in their own special interests VS who is a patriot trying to save the country.

I never did and I'm online most of the time (due to my work). Only learned about Drudge through this forum.

It's pure bullshit. I was involved with the Libertarian Party back in 1988. All of this came out back then and was basically refuted. It turned out there were grad students across America who also served as LP leaders. The Libertarian Party was trying to grow and was in no position to be checking into the specific details of their member's personal beliefs (not to mention it's not a Libertarian ideal to delve into the personal lives of party members). So many people across the country printed newsletters on stock LP newsletter paper. Ron Paul rarely saw this stuff. He was busy running a nationwide campaign with very little money.

What a bunch of bullshit. Isn't this Daniel Koffer guy the same guy that tried to bring this stuff up before?

1st off this story will deter no one from voting for Ron Paul today.

2nd, this shows they're desperate and are resorting to these tactics because they actually do see Ron Paul as a threat.

3rd, it shows they're scared of Ron Paul going into Super Tuesday.

This will just be seen as another of the hit pieces to go along with the Fox News Forum fiasco. Good thigns can come of this garbage.
