I don't think the knocking would've made any difference, it was an accidental shot, and could've happened to anybody.

Even if they do claim it was a totally accidental discharge, it's more likely that someone just had a trigger finger that was just a bit too itchy to shoot anything that moved.Article said:The police were not categorizing the shooting as accidental yet, Godbee said, "although we don't believe the gun was discharged intentionally."

So the spin machine is out in full swing today. Every article today, changed from yesterday, now states that they found the suspect in the home. What they dont mention is that he wasnt found in that home, he was found in the same BUILDING, but in a completely different residence. I hope to god this cop goes to jail for murder, and that the father sues the city broke.

Child murderers. Blood boiling here.
I have always wondered how when a child is murdered or assaulted in a serious way, the father or other responsible adult does not go and kill the perpetrator? I made up my mind a long time ago that if anyone ever hurts my daughter, game over! Let the repercussions to me fall where they may.
I hope the people of that city rise up and do something. I don’t think a lynching would be out of line.
It's Detroit. If they do anything, it will involve looting the small Mom and Pop shops, then burning down their own houses.
As far as the father....I think that so many times the family still has more to lose. If somebody hurt my son, and my husband extracted revenge, he'd go to prison. Which would leave me and my other son in a financial bind.
Does anyone (apart from us) really think the "investigation" would lead to finding a cop guilty of murder? That city is already corrupt as can be. Judging by the video this guy has an army of angry looking black guys who will jump at the chance to kill that cop. I agree that a Mel Gibson style revenge attack would not be out of line, what other justice could possibly come of this?
