Detroit Police Kill Seven-Year-Old Child During No-Knock Early A.M. Raid

Cops now apparently have not only Police Powers, but Judge, Jury, and Executioner, and any that get in there way are screwed.

I don't think the knocking would've made any difference, it was an accidental shot, and could've happened to anybody.

It could've happened to anybody who busted into someone's house unannounced [and probably screaming like hell] with guns drawn and pointed at people (even children), you mean? Yeah, no shit.

Besides, we don't know that it was a totally accidental shot. Even the police department isn't claiming that with certainty yet:
Article said:
The police were not categorizing the shooting as accidental yet, Godbee said, "although we don't believe the gun was discharged intentionally."
Even if they do claim it was a totally accidental discharge, it's more likely that someone just had a trigger finger that was just a bit too itchy to shoot anything that moved.

And just how do you accidentally put your finger on a trigger and squeeze?

STFU

If they would have knocked, the child could woke up,could have made some noise to identify. This is just the same abuse of power.

So the spin machine is out in full swing today. Every article today, changed from yesterday, now states that they found the suspect in the home. What they dont mention is that he wasnt found in that home, he was found in the same BUILDING, but in a completely different residence. I hope to god this cop goes to jail for murder, and that the father sues the city broke.

cop gets a paid vacation while while chronies come up with a story how he is innocent.

This has to weight heavily on someones conscience, even if he doesn't get any action taken against him (which I expect he will not)

Detroit is already beyond broke. Karma would have this cop putting a bullet in his own brain.

Child murderers. Blood boiling here.

I have always wondered how when a child is murdered or assaulted in a serious way, the father or other responsible adult does not go and kill the perpetrator? I made up my mind a long time ago that if anyone ever hurts my daughter, game over! Let the repercussions to me fall where they may.

I hope the people of that city rise up and do something. I don’t think a lynching would be out of line.

It's Detroit. If they do anything, it will involve looting the small Mom and Pop shops, then burning down their own houses.

As far as the father....I think that so many times the family still has more to lose. If somebody hurt my son, and my husband extracted revenge, he'd go to prison. Which would leave me and my other son in a financial bind.

I'm watching Detroit as the "Canary in the Coal mine", It is an example of the worst policies and conditions. And it will likely be the first to explode.

I am glad to be far enough away. It may well serve as an early warning of things to come.

I had thought "NO Knock" was illegal in Michigan. Apparently that has changed too.

Does anyone (apart from us) really think the "investigation" would lead to finding a cop guilty of murder? That city is already corrupt as can be. Judging by the video this guy has an army of angry looking black guys who will jump at the chance to kill that cop. I agree that a Mel Gibson style revenge attack would not be out of line, what other justice could possibly come of this?

Putting as bullet in his brain is the only honorable way out.

That footage will never be aired. If they show the cops in a bad light, the cops will stop letting them ride along.

Something like this happened in Tampa about 20 years ago. COPS was filming, and the state sanctioned thugs broke into the wrong house. That film never showed up anywhere.

After seeing Waco on live TV, an FBI agent burned the compound to the ground and they're still trying to say the residents did it, I have little faith in honorable law enforcement.
