Debate clips removed from Youtube?????!!!

NO, this is real and COMPLETELY evil by Fox.

Please digg this article: http://www.digg.com/2008_us_elections/Cut_from_re_air_What_Fox_News_doesn_t_want_you_too_see

I'm not defending Fox, but for you to call this "COMPLETELY evil" is just stupid. As I said, it's their material, they have copyright, they can do what they want. Ron has more or less said the same thing about their "selectivity."

Keep re-posting the cut parts all day, no problem, but don't get so outraged when a company exercises their rights.

but there's nothing wrong with his opinion on it being "COMPLETELY evil."

it might be their material, and they might have that right not to show it. but rights are not morals. if someone wants to think FOX is "evil" because they have dubious morality... thats perfectly fine.

that statement is not "stupid" at all.

evil ≠ illegal.

Yes, I've saved it to my computer

Did anyone save it to their computer.

Yes, I've saved part 2 of the debate (right now) which includes Ron Paul's great "electibility" response.

If you keep searching you will find it still out there. But it is saved for prosperity.

And I have saved it for posterity as well as prosperity. :D

go downscale to other video engine other than the over rated youtube...

Should Ron Paul put a quote or youtube of that part of the speech on his website. His answer was incredible.

go downscale to other video engine other than the over rated youtube...

yeah but youtube has a larger userbase than others.

no reason it can't be spread on both, either.

if fox thinks it can control content on the internet, they are in for a rude awakening. if people want to spread this video it WILL be spread. there is no way they could keep up if there was even any kind of significant backlash against their censoring.

There is something about RP's response to the electibility question that hit home with the enemy.

I think its the borrow 10 billion from China and give it to a military dictator who overthrew an elected government....

Its easy to understand, its at the level of the everyday Joe/Jane, and everyone knows its wrong for us.

Indeed that was a great response and it hits home.
Get out and canvass! When people ask you why they haven't heard of him, repeat that quote, then tell them that FoxNews cut it from the rebroadcast of the debate. People know the media is lying to them, they just aren't involved enough to know how.

"You’re saying now that we have to continue borrowing more money from China to finance this empire we can’t afford. Let me see if I get this right. We need to borrow $10 billion from China, and then we give it to (Pakistani President Pervez) Musharraf, who is a military dictator who overthrew an elected government, and then we go to war, we lose all these lives, promoting democracy in Iraq. I mean what’s going on here? "
-- Ron Paul

Unless people get out there and go door to door, the election will go by and people will not know what they missed out on. I'm going out again tomorrow (did today), how about all of you?

Post this link to craigslist, in emails to friends, send it to county GOP headquaters, make sure people know of the censorship of Faux. This clip is a huge recruitment tool for republicans!

This is the question removed from all re-airings of the Republican Presidential debate held on Jan 10th 2008 in South Carolina.

So they cut it from the re-airings too? I hadn't heard that yet. A re-airing is on Fox right now so I'll be looking for the omission...

If you rip videos to DivX you can put them up on stage6. It would have to be HD content though, or at least high quality. The cool thing about stage6 is that you can download videos or watch them online. Having offline copies is really nice. ;)

There are a ton of RP vids there already, all in good quality, all downloadable.

What is it? High quality dvd video site?

What is it? High quality dvd video site?

It's a video site that allows for uploading full HD content. Not only can you watch the videos streamed over the web but you can also download them which is great if you want to show vids while canvassing and dont have internet access. A lot of the RP vids that are on stage6 are in SD, but if the people making videos want to take the time to render in uncompressed HD format in Vegas or whatever editing software you use, then render them to DivX using Dr. DivX we can put up great videos that are downloadable and viewable in awesome resolution at full screen sizes.

look and you will find the video.......they are all over the place out there.....people have been changing the titles now to make them harder to search for and delete.....

I would believe the fact that it is their property if....

This wasn't media on a debate that feeds into the overall activities by which the whole nation should have available by any and all outlets to review

And Fox News was asking for footage of past debates they held to be removed.

Has anyone seen any of the past Fox debate videos being pulled? Either the one Paul wasn't invited to or prior? Or is any O'Reilly and Hannity videos being pulled?

Just a thought.
