Dear lord, this is a tremendous ad! [RevolutionPAC - September 19th, SUPERBOMB fundraiser]

So what's the plan.. donate to the official campaign until you're maxed out then donate to RevPAC?
Any value to donating to PAC before you're maxed out officially? - seems like the campaign could use the money first..
(either way I'm going to be superbombed that day!!) :D

The ad says "from around the world". So this means that foreigners and foreign businesses can donate, right?

I hope so, because I think a lot of foreigners would donate just to bring peace and end the wars.
I´ve heard that they are doing research on this issue right now, but haven´t yet figured out if it´s possible.

According to the press release at http://www.revolutionpac.com/2011/08/september-superbomb-announced-by-ron-paul-super-pac/

The Revolution PAC is asking foreign supporters of Ron Paul to patronize US businesses who support the Super PAC.

Tom Woods has stated that you can't donate to the SuperPAC as a foreigner, but you can support the companies who do donate.

Edit: From Facebook:

"Non-US citizens can support US businesses that support the Super PAC, but that's about it."

Where do we pledge? I see pledges on the ticker but can't find where to pledge myself.

Edit: Found it on the right.

I really feel like this is going to explode!

Maybe Steve Forbes will donate. A hundred million dollars.

Come to think of it, Forbes could be a good VP choice! Especially with the poor economy...

Forbes is not as idealistic as we are. I doubt he would donate to the super PAC

I don't want to be "that guy".... but let's just say that Forbes is more on our side than many think or believe.

I'm not going to say anything further - let's see how it plays itself out... Forbes is an ally. He is a fan, of ALL of the Pauls... I don't want to be typical and say "Trust Me"... but it's true.

If you're still under the 2400 dollar limit, I think giving to the campaign itself makes more sense, which is most people.

They'll have to disclose them under subpoena if the government gets wind of illegality. One of the biggest concerns about this is that the non-disclosure allows for the illegal contributions from foreign donors. Unless you want to see the PAC get dismantled by the FEC, foreign donors need to stay away.

All PACs, including Super PACs, have to report to the FEC quarterly. This includes disclosing any donors who give in aggregate excess of $200. This information is also made public. No idea where people got the idea that PACs don't have to disclose.

love the ad! really hope there are some big donors that can together match or surpass the amounts raised by generic moneybombs. i know if i was a multimillionaire or billionaire i wouldnt be stingy haha :D

one thing, i still really dont like the "official" revolution super pac graphic or their website. i say ditch the original revolution graphic because it doesnt look professional or might remind people too much of an older campaign. this is a DIFFERENT campaign in more ways than one and it would serve them well to adopt a new revolution graphic which matches the quality and professional feel of this campaign, such as the graphic used on the superpac facebook page.

I would be curious to know what info. you have. Shoot me a PM if you it's something you would feel comfortable disclosing.

I do remember Forbes donating and maxing out to Rand, however, i don't remember if he donated to Ron. My point is that i couldn't see him dropping big dollars into Ron's campaign. Hey, i would be HAPPY to be proven wrong though :)

EDIT: I just searched through Forbes past donations and i didn't see a donation to Rand so maybe i imagined that. His overall donation profile is pretty much down the line GOP. Nothing special

Where can I find these businesses?

Somebody posted a Wikipedia quote earlier in the thread.

Found the explanation: Non-profits, like the C4L, don't have to disclose their donors, but they can contribute to Super Pacs. So.....it's fairly simple to laundry money through there.

Needless to say, foreign money in elections is illegal, and no reputable PAC would accept it.

The clip where RP raises his hand as he exists the podium....WOW....

great video!

I really like the second half. When the video starts to pick up a bit it really gives the impression Ron is a rockstar of sorts. (Which may or may not help our cause) But it sure is entertaining to watch.
