It's not for lack of trying - I'm someone who had to weed through a gazillion well-meaning RonPaulSpams at the hands of one of my brothers during the campaign, but the arguments seem so ill-formed and vague.

When I discussed it with him (or tried to) the best he could come up with was a conspiracy-theory-sounding rant about who controls the Federal Reserve system (something I was unable to work out, despite twenty-plus years following politics, at least one Macroeconomics course and a stint in government banking)."

He says he's done gov. banking and studied politics for 20 years, and he has no clue how the federal reserve works.

Of course, if he did, he wouldn't be on DailyKos.
