lol... how about a unicorn? I don't think there is any such thing as a potential Cruz VP.
I'm not gonna be Cruz's running mate, I've got too much of a sense of reality for that.

This makes no sense. Cruz already has lost. Trump is the presumptive nominee. Is Rand also vetting candidates for VP?
No but we didn't finance a delegate campaign because Rand didn't want us to waste our money and he was running for senate re-election, Cruz has Goldman Saches connections so he probably has enough funding to run a delegate campaign. Now that no one will win on the first ballot the RNC "will be forced to change the rules". If they can't smear Cruz and make his delegates hate him, then they will have to make Cruz an offer he won't refuse.
What are you talking about? Now that Trump took almost every possible delegate in all 5 states last night you somehow translate that into Cruz stopped him? Trump needs less than 300 to finish and he is crushing everyone. How exactly do you see Cruz stopping Trump?
http://www.wmur.com/politics/wmur-f...-to-name-fiorina-as-his-running-mate/39241650Sources confirmed to WMUR political director Josh McElveen and political reporter John DiStaso that Fiorina, who has been a supporter of Cruz for several weeks, will be the focus of the announcement that Cruz intends to make in Indiana Wednesday afternoon.
Taking the majority of delegates from both IN and CA would stop Trump.
And if a meteorite crashes into Trump tower and kills Trump, that would stop him too... but that isn't very realistic is it?
Please don't tell me you think Trump has finally hit his ceiling, it is getting really old and frankly sounds stupid.
Trump has more primary votes than Romney received in all of 2012

I'm guessing you and the other Trump supporters are believing what the Trump campaign press releases say, and believe it will look like this:
It's been known since at least Rubio and Christie dropped out that Trump would have no real opposition in NY and the Apr 26 states. This is what Trump needs to do at a minimum to keep from losing on a 2nd or 3rd ballot at the RNC:
This is closer to what it will actually look like if he loses IN:
You are out of touch with reality. I am not a Trump supporter. Acknowledging the reality that Trump beat Cruz doesn't all of a sudden make me a Republican and a Trump supporter.
You can keep grasping at straws, but Cruz lost. Its over. Keep telling yourself that he can pull this out though... I will keep pretending that Rand might win the nomination too so you won't be lonely in fantasyland.

Yep, and if I had wheels, I'd be a wagon. Cruz and Kasich are not taking the majority of delegates anywhere, this is over, it's been over for well over a month.
I'm not saying he can pull this out, I'm saying it's not over. Show me an endorsement from Mike Pence, a win in IN and >40% of the delegates from CA and I would be willing to call it for Trump. This is still very much an active race, no matter what the Trump campaign puts out there for their supporters to repeat. The fact they are putting it out there shows they understand they are still having to compete.
I don't know what the Trump campaign is putting out. I do know what I am seeing with my own two eyes and Trump has crushed every other candidate.
- Cruz is mathematically eliminated
- Kasich is mathematically eliminated
- Fiorina is mathematically eliminated
- Christie is mathematically eliminated
- Huckabee is mathematically eliminated
- Graham is mathematically eliminated
- Carson is mathematically eliminated
- Rubio is mathematically eliminated
I suppose next you will tell me that the Federal Reserve is doing good work keeping inflation down and that gold isn't money.
You are welcome to keep fighting for I don't know what, but don't bother trying to convince me of your bizarre dream. Rand is out and there is no good answer.

I've said many times I'm not trying to convince anyone, if that's what you believe I'm trying to do, you are mistaken. Cruz and Kasich's strategy since early March has not been to get 1237 before the RNC, but prevent Trump from getting there. This isn't exactly a secret. The interest I have in this primary is its similarity to the 2012 primary where Mitt was a front runner, and Ron's grassroots (who were right here on this very site) were picking off delegates in caucus states, and bound Mitt delegate seats in primary states. Cruz's campaign has been much more successful at it, and there are things to be learned if you actually dig down to see what is going on at the ground level. Other than that, I really don't care who wins the primary, none of the GOPs are going to win a general election. And I don't care much about that, either.
One last reality check and then I will let you get back to your rainbows and unicorns.
Cruz will not stop Trump from getting the nomination.
If Trump did fail to get the nomination, it doesn't matter because Paul is not running like in 2012.
It doesn't matter if Cruz or Kasich or Jeb! or Carly were able to get the nomination because they all suck too. Fighting to get a win for Cruz is no win at all.
Central planning doesn't work. Statist A and statist B are both statists and not going to advance liberty.
Liberty lost... again.
It might be over for you, but you're still in here posting about it.
You're posting thread after thread yammering about irrelevant stuff, I'm simply bumping into it and responding accordingly. The one who is busy chopping down trees is the one acting, the person who is out for a walk and nearly gets hit by one and says "watch what you're doing" is reacting, not to mention providing a public service should anyone else be out for a stroll.
I'm watching how things go and chiming in from time to time. You, on the other hand, are about as invested in trying to convince people of things as the Trump trolls were late last year with all of these links to articles about Cruz picking Fiorina as a running mate, Kasich and Cruz conspiring with the GOP establishment (as if they are our friends), as if nobody here knows how to use Google.
Why do you care about stopping Trump so much? What possible good would come from having someone like Hillary, Sanders, Kasich or Cruz in power? Remember, this "lesser evils" crap cuts both ways.
I'm not gonna be Cruz's running mate, I've got too much of a sense of reality for that.![]()
