CPAC People: Get in the main room NOW

When Ron Paul's supporters want to protest a particular comment, instead of booing, you guys need to take off your shoe and hold it up.

I'd say we have about 15% of the ballroom. Not great, but it's much better than last year. Expect a mixed reaction when results are released.

Based on the standing ovation given to the CATO guy on foreign policy, I'd say we only make up 10% of the room right now. Hopefully more make it in after Coulter speaks...

The first guy speaking in the afghan debate is warmongering and got heckled

If our guys heckle, our candidates are much more likely to BE heckled. People will consider them fair game even though their own behavior is above reproach.

Exactly what I've been saying. If we want Liberty candidates to be treated with respect, we need their supporters to extend the same courtesy to our opponents. We can disagree without being disagreeable, can't we?

I don't understand why it wasn't the ultimate priority, other than voting for Ron at the straw poll, to ensure a packed audience for when the results were announced. Seems like after last year, all the RP folks would have been lined up to enter the main ballroom and secure the center seats from the minute it opened today.

Hopefully many people will be leaving after Ann Counter. That will be a good chance to get in. Wait in line now it you arent in the room yet.

i didnt stay for the results. I mean to sit all day listing to rhetoric and lies, just to applaud for 2 minutes.... dosent seem very fun, and Ron said spreading liberty should be fun. Thus and Fri were fun. Besides, i got ton of work to do for monday, since i missed class on thurs and fri

Yeah, hard for me to blame you since you actually went and I didn't. I'm just hoping enough people leave after the Coulter speech to allow our people to enter. I am wondering if the diehard neo-cons will simply leave, because they all seem to have gotten wind of the results. Last year, they were there to cheer Romney until Paul won. This year, they may just no-show to try and give the poll as little legitimacy as possible.
