CPAC - Do We Have A Booth?

The only thing is that it's probably going to cost $125.00 to get in, except for students at $25. One-day passes are only available for Saturday.

Too bad we don't have a booth. I think a booth gives you a certain number of passes with it.

souded

I havent heard anytying back from the CPAC folks or RPHQ but when I talked to them earlier it sounded like there was interest in getting the booth themselves. I would still call and lay some pressure though if you can. I really baffles me how they did not know what this was when Ron Paul is supposed to be there.

CPAC confirms via email: "The website will be updated with the Facebook schedule in the next few days. Rep. Paul is scheduled to speak on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 4:30 p.m."

No Booth

I just got a call back from one of the CPAC organizers and they have NO booth space left for this year's conference. We can still register to attend the event and can register at the door on the day of the event. So perhaps we could get a sign waive outside and possibly get some people in the building with some handouts?

Yes, but it's looking like it'll cost 125.00 for every person you get in the building.

LP

Perhaps we could approach the Libertarian Party about splitting a booth with them. I know some folks would be highly against that and their arguments are valid but half a booth is better than nothing and they would be more apt to do it than anyone else who will be there. Ideas?

I bet they could squeeze a presidential candidate in if they wanted to. McCain just got a booth, according to the NRO Corner people.

We could at least ask.

We could always put a little pressure on HQ to get this done. I am like you, they may find some room for a Presidential candidate but it is going to have to be HQ to formally request it to happen.

OK, I have some calls in to people who know LP people about this. I'll let you know what I find out.

That would be the best route if they would do it. I don't know why they didn't do it already.
