Counter Fear Campaign Needed

Like it or not, the War on Terror fear campaign is working...citizens are handing in their civil liberties for an incorrectly perceived feeling of safety.


How can we establish the counter (and genuine) fear campaign ??


That is, effectively paint a picture of...

1) U.S. military in the middle east leading to the GROWTH of Al Queda and increased threat of additional terrorist attacks in U.S. cities

2) 1 Trillion in annual overseas military costs paid by printing money, leading to inflation and citizen's savings being worth less

3) Social entitlements leading to doubling and tripling of payroll taxes.

4) Real ID heading towards RFID tracking of citizen movement

5) NAFTA hiway leading to NAU, and unelected leaders forming our nation's laws

6) etc....


How can we connect the dots simply for the American Idol watching citizenry and give them a reason to vote for Freedom, Peace, and Prosperity ?


Ongoing food rationing will wake people up and we need to be ready with a message.

Well, a pro-active thing to do, among many many hundreds of options, is to join www.downsizeDC.org
It's really pretty amazing, and crazy simple. They recently had a push for a message to send to your representatives a message of "STOP. I'm not afraid of terrorists. Stop taking away my civil liberties, stop with the national I.D. nonsense, and enough of the Iraq war." I'm paraphrasing of course.

The message is not new, but downsizedc.org's methods are new. Once you register, you plug in your zip, or city/state and it automatically finds who your representatives are. When downsizedc.org sends you an update (which is almost every day), you can choose to reply (adding your own message too) and that very same reply is sent directly to your rep's inbox.
Sure, it's only an email campaign, but it's a start, and they've had some positive success in a short amount of time. Your local representatives NEVER hear from you, well, from most of you. If you make your voice heard and you let those bastards know, "I'm watching how you vote on this," it does make a difference.

The TRUTH is the opposite of darkness. The TRUTH today is as scarey as the lies in my honest opinion.

Your points Raystone are right on money. Now we need distribution.... spending money on national ads only makes the big guys richer. There are small papers locally that might be a good place to start.
