I thought cops were supposed to use Tazers to subdue people that were being PHYSICAL with officers (like waving a knife around).

Who in the hell is telling officers that tazers can be used just to shut people up or keep them from fleeing?

Sounds like these officers are lazy bastards and using the tazer as a "fix all" kind of solution.

I think stories like this go hand in hand with another story I saw on here about police departments refusing to allow people with high IQs to go through the academy. Sure sounds like all the dumb ones are getting through and given deadly weapons to assault the public with.

So disgusting...

Remember that girl at the Pitsburg G8 (just a student who wasn't peddling fast enough) and got a billy club accross her back and then beaten and arrested... yeah....
