So let me get this straight just so I can understand this better. If I call the police dept and tell them I just beat down a guy and have him subdued because he threatened to kill me who is going to jail? Me because just because he threatened me he didn't actually do it or attempt to do it I have no right to defend myself because he is only threatening and not posing a serious risk against my life to support self defense. If I had called the police and told them someone just threatened my life they would basically tell me that if the accused hasn't done anything but threatened me it is not a crime.Obviously you are a professional on this subject.
If that happened, then it could be construed as torture, but it didn't happen. As I said, if the article is lying about this, what else is it lying about? Tasers only have enough juice in them to be used once. There are some expensive models that not many departments use that have quick-reload batteries, but I highly doubt the officers were carrying 19 batteries on them.
The article is simply the most B.S. thing I have ever read. You're telling me the officers sat there, firing a tazer once, reloading, firing it again, reloading, firing it again, reloading, over and over for a grand total of 19 times? That's even if they had reloadable tasers and all those batteries on them.
Article = lame and BS.
They are. Would you prefer this boy have gotten shot instead? If a "boy" (I use that term lightly because 16 is old enough to overpower you) is squirming around, not complying with my requests, and saying he's going to kill me, I have to assume he has a gun or weapon on him and is about to use it on me.
Sorry, he can ride the lightning, I'm not risking my life and yes I am going home to my family at the end of the day.
As far as what he's a suspect of, that doesn't matter, as soon as he said he was going to kill the officers, he committed a crime.
1) How would I know he has a broken back? I'm not a doctor and I don't carry x-ray machines with me.
2) If he has a broken back, he should have said so and been crying for help, not saying that he was going to kill me.
3) The kid was a f'ing retard and deserved it. It's just common sense not to tell cops you are going to kill them if you have a broken back and need medical attention.
And why is that? Have you ever used a taser, or had one used on you?
Just because the media makes tasers out to be some horrible death beam invented by Dr. Evil doesn't mean it's true.
But with a cop it is differen't? All the person has to do is just threaten you and you can go to town on them?
Just like in the other post you seem to defend bad cops, it is sad but from your statements it is true. Hell you wouldn't even reply to my post on the other thread of the cyclist in NYC that got the ole boy in blue beat down because unfortunately you couldn't even come up with a proper defense for your opinion on that matter either.
I sure am gald you have made yourself known as to ya true blue color on here. I pray for the citizens safety in your area of policing because they are in for a real treat with you and the good ole boys club there.
How in the world could someone of this mentality support Ron Paul? It is completely bizzaro to the views of Ron and the Constitution.
