Nobody would accept David Koresh as the messiah, except some of those close to him, why, therefore, do folks blindly accept the one that has been passed down through the ages? I mean, if jesus outed today they would reject him, just as the people did in his own day. Presuming he was in fact a person and not just an allegory used by a secret mushroom cult to pass on the name of the mushroom to the initiates while hiding it from the profane.

i think it all boils down to genetics. Some have an appitude for math, while others have an appitude to be authortarian via violence.

While I'm not a fan of cops, the theology in the OP is really Arminian. God isn't really averse to forcing you to do things. Deal with it

Forcing people to do things they don't want to do and it's opposite, not forcing people to do things they don't want to do are the choices, which one do you figure satan would do?
The simplicity of this logic is the foundation of my religion.
That some people want to ascribe actions very definitely negative in nature to the ultimate good in the universe belies their confusion. The ultimate good in the universe is precluded from creating negativity, otherwise it wouldn't qualify to be.
This is the deception that soooo many 'christians' fall prey to.
If god is the ultimate good in the universe s/he is not doing negative things.
And yet, they do. When was the last time you put an end to a cop who was doing wrong?
Well there is that whole power disparity thing.
If you kill a criminal cop(even a canine) you get the needle, but if he kills you he gets a plaque at the yearly awards dinner and a pay raise.
There is a lot more within the spectrum of human activity than either cheering for evildoing cops or shooting them dead. Life is not binary, one can resist the police state and work to stop it without declaring a shooting war on the police.

What are the options? I don't see anybody walking down Constitution Avenue with a loaded rifle, much less the 100,000 armed and angry citizens en masse that it would take to make that kind of thing actually work.

Actually the powers that be want an all out civil war (with race, police and poverty), while they sit in their Ivory Towers spectating.

Unless we get control of the narrative and stop the dupes with their fingers on the various buttons any argument will be moot. The elites will just hole up and let loose the various weapons they already control.
