Thats what they said when we tried for "at least $3 million" and then we ended up at $4.2 million....then they said it couldnt be duplicated...and we had a Tea Party to show them who rules the Internet.
I would love to see a "double" goal, simply meaning not only do you pledge a certain amount of money but you will go out and find somone who hadnt previously given and get them to pledge. last time we had over 30,000 people who gave to the moneybomb. We should push for a "recruitment" of givers. Finding 1 person per month isnt too hard and thats why I love the spacing we have. Anybody can come up with $50 in 4 weeks...most could do $100 AND if we add in finding 1 more person then this could be huge.
I am hoping for 45,000 donors (i know its not double, but then again Iam a realist) at $60 average (we average $50 last time) for $2.7 million on Spet 17th.
65,000 donors @ $65 (indremental increase because new donors wont be maxed out) or roughly $4.225 million on Oct 19th
85,000 donors @ $75 (increase awareness and legitimacy brings larger donors $5.95 million $6.375 (New record)
100,000 donors @ $100 (We need to push this as a $100 per person bomb...Ill give up Christmas and take RP instead) $10 million
That would be $20 million in just moneybomb donations for the end of year quarter. Also, would give RP a ton of cash for Iowa and NH. I know some of these numbers seem pie in the sky but based on the increases in moneybombs from last time, I think it highly doable...especially the 2nd Tea Party. Its five weeks from the last bomb and has significance for the campaing.
