Electric cars burn coal, indirectly.> Kentucky produces coal, about one percent of it's economy.> Massie is a U.S. Representative from Kentucky. That's my guess.Wonder why Massie bought one.

I don't get the irony. Wouldn't it be charged by coal power late in the night back there? That or nuclear.

I just don't see the appeal of an all-electric car. The styling is nice, I really like the front even it looks like a cross between a Jaguar XK and Ford Fusion.
Still, internal combustion > electric car. There's a reason why no electric car can survive without massive government subsidies.
Never purchasing gas is very appealing to me.
You prefer the idea of charging your car for 12 hours after driving 150 miles?
No thanks.
I probably drive around 150 - 200 miles in a month, on average. Plugging in a car 2 - 3 times per week would definitely be worth saving $50/mo. With my driving, it would be perfect.
Which electric vehicles have you test driven?
Bah. I hate the car. My dad ordered one and I don't understand why. I hate electric cars!
I got 28 seconds into that video.
I don't want to hear the birds and the ocean! I want to hear the roar of my V8!
I love the idea that it's nearly silent and can blow away a Ferrari.
Don't they have sound effects now?I got 28 seconds into that video.

Where it is an electric car but it plays the sound of an engine revving up depending on speed.
I don't know where I was reading about that at.
True.I know by law electric cars must add some fake engine noise due to safety regulations (for pedestrians).
It's still not the same. An artificial engine noise coming out of your speakers is never going to be the same as the roar and vibrations from an internal combustion engine.
