Confirmation of Super Bowl TV ads

It's cheaper to buy locally....i.e. If you do an agency buy for the whole country the agent typically takes 10-15%.

I think this is a good indication that they may be buying nationally, because, Maine's caucuses are mostly over by Sunday, although a few straggling precincts may try to hold them then. (By law they do not HAVE to caucus until 3/20...but the State GOP sets the places and times, and they are all on 2/1 or 2/2.)

This indicated to me it is part of a possible nationwide Super Tuesday buy...but I could be wrong...They also bought 77 spots during the week prior to the caucuses up here...

The entire halftime show should be nothing but Ron Paul supporters covering the field chanting RON PAUL and then Ron Paul walks out from the trap door on the stage to fireworks and he gives the greatest speech in the history of mankind. Or personkind...whatever.
 
If anybody knows somebody going to the Super Bowl, I'm sure grassroots can find a way to make it worth their while to wave Ron Paul signs there.
 
If you can sneak them in....

They probably will have DHS all over the place confiscating them as "WMD."...lol...
 
I hate to play devil's advocate here, but as a football fan, political ads during the game are more likely to annoy me than anything. I've literally seen hundreds of these ads over the past year, and coming across yet another during the biggest game of the year won't make any difference to me. Best case scenario I tune it right out, worst case scenario I make a note of the guy who had the nerve to invade my game day...and make sure I vote against him.

This is all assuming it's another one of those "This is candidate X, and I approve of this message" type generic ads. If you come up with something special, nostalgic, patriotic, and appeal to emotion, it could have a big ripple effect. Put a tear in the eye of the millions of guys watching the game, ala Braveheart effect, and Ron could skyrocket in the polls. If it was professionally done, and very, very moving people would be talking about it all the following week.

Another generic political ad though, is likely to do just as much harm as good. That's my opinion.

I agree. Also the fact that they've made so many terrible ads does scare me a bit

Yeah, it would have to be a Superbowl caliber commercial.
 
Maybe they're gonna use "He's catchin' on, I'm tellin ya" nationwide during the Super Bowl. Jk. Awesome news.

Convenient that you can't give details, but if you could, all I'd want to know is "who'd you talk to at Fox," and "why the heck would they tell you?"

Pardon the skepticism, but there have been way too many threads of late guaranteeing all types of crap.

I gave all the details. They would tell me because I was the one who originally called them to get the quotes.

I wish people would read threads before posting in them. Can we get that set up?

Tickets can be had for about $3000 each. I'm in AZ. You get me a ticket and I'll be a human Ron Paul billboard the whole game for ya :)

And I wish people would post pertinent details in their first post so that we don't have to scroll through pages and pages of threads to get them piece by piece. Can we get that set up?
