No, I had my thread deleted and I had the billionaires contact come back and make a post HIMSELF. Sorry if that wasn't good enough for you.

It should indeed have been released, if you talk to Dick. The guy backed out. IT WAS A REPORT from what I was told, not a claim. Some people have an awful hard time with plain English.

Look, I was as sick of the rumors as everyone else, and I did something about it. I didn't want someone to continue to give false hopes to the grassroots, and I put and end to that particular speculation. I don't give a rip about whether that makes what I did "important" or not in your eyes. I only answer to myself and my God. I did the right thing. Some may agree, some may disagree. That's fine. At least now we all know the truth. That was the point of the report...to get at the truth. Mission accomplished.

I never said they sucked. However, the truth is IA, WY, NH and LA were all bungled to a degree, not by the grassroots, but by the national HQ. They are not professional, national-level, Presidential campaign people. Look for yourself at their resumes. They are doing their best in jobs for which they are not really qualified, but it hasn't (so far) worked out very well.

YES, WE NEEDED SOME EVIDENCE THAT THEY WERE TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY and actually spending some of the money we all gave them on things besides more unqualified staff--like the people they put in place in Michigan.

This buy is that evidence. I am hoping for the best from this point forward, and if we have some major breakthrough, I will be the first to admit I was wrong.

I got an email verifying they are buying local ad space to advertise Ron Paul before, during and after super bowl. So, it is true. But it is local, which is what the TS claimed.

I missed that thread completely and I am guessing that most people missed it completely as it didn't get too more than 5 pages and was probably thrown into the Hot Topics section pretty soon.

Read some back on Dick Mills and also found the thread of Bryan backing him, I can see you're not out to deceive people.

In which case I'll apologize to you for questioning your motives but I do feel you should not post things that will stir up the whole forum when there is actually nothing finalized next time around. Nothing good can come from that, the whole billionaire speculation had finally died down a bit when you posted yet another thread in which you appeared to claim a lot on hear say.

I think it would have been a lot wiser to keep everything to yourselves until something could really be confirmed, it would have saved this forum a lot of pointless speculation

Anyway, I apologize for questioning your motives. It seems I was wrong on this one and I was too fast to judge you. I'll go and edit some previous posts now.

good news, but its not an SB ad, that is a national ad... I am sure the other candidates will also have local ads during the super bowl...

This would be the dumbest purchase they could make. Our Caucas is scheduled for Feb 1st ,2nd and 3rd. The Superbowl is at night on the 3rd. Not vary smart if true. More so considering that NH next door is already done.

On the positive side, RP will be here in Maine on Monday. I will be manning, I hate the sound of that word for some reason, the table at the state house during his speach:)

The only reason why this may be a good idea is if he is expecting to go 3rd party soon????
