Newt Gingrich Comprehensive list of Newt Gingrich positions

Anti-Newt Gingrich political ad from 1992 primary: Newt bounced checks to the IRS

Newt bounced checks to the IRS, raised his own pay, and drives around in chauffeured limousine.

Gingrich: Healthcare mandates; Micro-manage grocery stores; Mandatory exercise (2007)

This has some good stuff in it. Video from 2007.

Newt is talking about "The Four-Box model" for achieving 100% insurance coverage for the whole country.

Quotes:
"Reshape the right grocery stores in poor neighborhoods."

"I would require everybody to have health insurance OR to post a bond. If you absolutely don't want to be in the health insurance system, fine, then post a bond."

"I prefer K-12, five day a week physical education for young people. Because we have kids who are 12 years old and are going to become diabetic. They eat too much and they don't ever exercise."

Gingrich praises 'Stimulus' for Federal databases of your private health records

February 2009

Newt is really glad that the Feds will be able to know all about your private medical history now. He went out of his way to make a YouTube video praising Obama on Federal medical databases.

"There are a lot of things to complain about in the Stimulus package...

...but there are 2 good things in the Stimulus Package from the standpoint of health. The first is a very serious investment in health information technology, which takes us a significant step down the road towards really having electronic health records for every American. And I applaud President Obama for developing and insisting on that approach.

And second, a substantial amount of money for Medicaid..."

Judge Napolitano rips Newt for his support of Federal insurance mandates

A real patriot exposes Newt & his statist beliefs about the power of the Federal Government.

"This is why we have primary elections. They flush out the views of those who would be president. They also remind us that we can lose our freedoms in a heartbeat. -- Judge Andrew Napolitano

Newt advocates individual mandates while debating Hillary Clinton (2005)

"Unless you have 100% coverage, you CAN'T have the right preventive care, and you CAN'T have a rational system." -- Newt Gingrich

"If I see somebody who is earning over $50,000 a year, who has made the calculated decision not to buy health insurance, I'm looking at somebody who is absolutely as irresponsible as anybody who has ever been on welfare. Because what they said is, (A) I'm gambling that won't get sick, and (B) I'm gambling that if I do get sick, I can cheat all my neighbors." -- Newt Gingrich

"So I'm actually in favor of finding a way to say, if you're above whatever the appropriate level of income is, you ought to either have health insurance, or you ought to post a bond." -- Newt Gingrich

He is a snake. I can't believe people are buying his position switches. He'll say anything to get elected.

But didn’t you hear? That fat lady who’s the Tea Party CEO/Prez said not to worry. She asked him about those positions, and was put at ease by his answers (Newtish charm). And remember, there’s "no perfect candidate" right now. So as good obedient conservatives/tea partiers, we have to trust her and our other leaders/TP CEO’s that Newt has done a 180 on the bailouts, the individual mandate, gun control, climate change legislation, Freddie Mac, Dept. of Education, support for Toffler’s “futurism” philosophy, adultery, financial irresponsibility, and any other controversial thing in his past (or past 6 months). The past is the past. Let’s focus on getting someone with an "R" by their name in the White House. That should be the TP goal….nevermind the truth behind the curtain.

Thank you for putting this list together. Haven't been on these forums in quite a while and I must say that it's a lot better with stuff like this. Great ammunition for debates.

I am new to these forums, but frequent other political forums, trying to clarify Dr. Paul's positions and words. Please allow me to say a something if I may.

THANK YOU for this collective treasure trove of information on this progressive wearing conservative clothing! I am former Army, and the thought of this trash getting the nomination boils my blood. I only hope you can visualize how big of a smile you've put on my face.

I believe you are spot on with the fact that lobbying (BRIBING) holds a direct correlation to corruption in Government. Your idea on the public being unintelligent though leads directly back to the federal government, as they now have their hand in education as well. Critical Thinking/Problem Solving and LOGIC is key to appealing to voters. (Perhaps Having Children read Sherlock Holmes)

Unfortunately votes are not garnered by reason and logic but rather emotion. Even more so with Media, Pacs, and Television essentially buying the people's votes.

The Republican Field is a Circus in terms of how bad the media pumps up Politicians.

Bachmann, Perry, Cain, and now Gingrich. Cain's popularity only grew with the amount of Blunders (It took a Sex Scandal to Drop him) and Gingrich is another example of how Rhetoric rules over Record.

The End of Bachmann.

The End of Perry.

The End of Cain. (Or perhaps a compilation of all his nonsense, the sexual allegations were just icing on the cake.)

Now it is on to BIG BOI Gingrich and his Pain Train of Corruption, Mandates, and Lies. The man sounds good though right? Just more Rhetoric.

On both sides of the Isle Paul is the only candidate who talks about Sound Money(Fed), Sensible Foreign Policy, and Smaller Government. He is also the only Candidate who will tackle our debt before we end up like Rome.

It is time to get dirty, we MUST HIGHLIGHT his unfaithfulness in his Marriages.

Newt's obsession with globalist author Alvin Toffler

Here's a good video about Newt & his advocacy of Alvin Toffler, who promotes abolishing the U.S. Constitution and instituting a World Government.

Newt's marriages

The Marriages of Newt Gingrich

Newt met Jackie when he was in high school when Jackie was his geometry teacher. Newt and Jackie secretly dated until their wedding. Newt was 19 years old and Jackie was 26 years old when they married. Newt's family boycotted the wedding

Dolores Adamson, Gingrich's district administrator from 1978 to 1983: "Jackie put him all the way through school. All the way through the P.h.D ... He didn't work. Personal funds have never meant anything to him. He's worse than a six-year-old trying to keep his bank balance ... Jackie did that."

Peter Boyer: "She [Jackie] says that Gingrich walked out on her in the spring of 1980. That fall, while she was in the hospital recovering from surgery for uterine cancer, he appeared at her bedside with a yellow legal pad outlining the details for their divorce."

Holly Bailey: "Speaking about the breakup of the marriage for the first time, Marianne Gingrich tells Esquire’s John H. Richardson that her former husband lied to the public when he insisted they had an “understanding” about the affair. She says Gingrich tried to convince her to “tolerate” his relationship with Bisek, but she refused."

Marianne: "He believes that what he says in public and how he lives don't have to be connected."
Source: John H. Richardson. "Newt Gingrich: The Indispensable Republican." Esquire.com. 8/10/2010.

Marianne Gingrich, 48 ... says the ex-speaker of the House told her on Mother's Day 1999 that he wanted a divorce, after learning she had a neurological condition that could lead to MS [multiple sclerosis]."

Callista was 34 and Newt was 57 when they married.

Newt absolutely looooooves FDR

Father of Socialist Security, confiscated Americans' gold, put American citizens into concentration camps, took over private industries...

Newt thinks he's the greatest president of the 20th century, better than Reagan.

Romney-backer Ann Coulter explores Newt's history with the Tofflers

Newt presents a fresh new virtual face

But Gingrich became a Toffler acolyte when he was an assistant history professor at West Georgia College and attended a Toffler seminar in Chicago. Alvin didn't notice Gingrich at the time, but later remarked: "He kept reminding me of himself in letters." (Note that the maharishi of the information age and his No. 1 groupie kept in touch by writing each other letters.)

Newt wrote a book condemning "laissez-faire" conservatism (1984)

Progressive David Brooks says Newt loves government more than he does. Fail.

David Brooks Gives Newt Gingrich the Kiss of Death
The National Greatness Progressive Conservative damns Newt, both intentionally and un:
...His 1984 book, "Window of Opportunity," is a broadside against what he calls the "laissez-faire" conservatism — the idea that government should just get out of the way so the market can flourish. As he wrote, "The opportunity society calls not for a laissez-faire society in which the economic world is a neutral jungle of purely random individual behavior, but for forceful government intervention on behalf of growth and opportunity."
But Brooks isn't backing him, because of unsuitable temperament, and because "Gingrich loves government more than I do." (Ouch!)

I wonder if there is anything "juicy" in those GOPAC tapes that have Newt talking for hours upon hours. There has to be some controversial positions in all of those tapes. Just don't know how to get my hands on them. Nor do I have the strength to listen to him blabber for countless hours.

The whole premise of the tapes were: "Language: A Key Mechanism of Control" http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article4443.htm

More on Newt's globalist record

Welcome to the Newt World Order
Obama has been criticized, and rightfully so, for stating that he wants to “fundamentally transform America.” Obama has had to answer questions about his past association with radical individuals. Newt Gingrich has emerged as the Republican frontrunner and is claiming to be the best alternative to Obama for 2012. If you are concerned with Obama’s ideology and the beliefs of those who influenced him, you should know some things about Newt Gingrich.....

Newt's next book on Climate Change is due out after the election (2013)

New Gingrich book on climate change likely coming after the election

While Gingrich has not run away from "A Contract with the Earth," he has been hedging on some past stances, especially regarding climate change. He recently told Fox News host Bill O’Reilly that he never supported a “cap-and-trade” system for limiting greenhouse has emissions, when in 2007 he said he would back such a scheme if it had tax incentives.

Gingrich also renounced the television ad he did three years ago with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in which he called for action on global warming.
