College Football 2017-18

Alabama playing a freshman now at left tackle . Alabama driving , can cut it to one score .

Anybodies ball game now . One score game , Georgia ball, 23 minutes to play .

I like this little freshman for Alabama. Saban will be kicking himself all the way home for not working more with Tagovailoa. The connection is he went to the same high school as Marcus Mariota.

Alabama not showing a lot of creativity. I think this is when you know the student is not always the student. Smart took over at GA last year and took what he knew and let his imagination run wild. It is so interesting to see how he put the pieces together.

Alabama looks very frustrated. Unsportsmanlike conduct tells the story.

The luster has gone away from Alabama for us. Lots of turmoil on the field and on the sidelines.

Georgia Ball , 9 1/2 to play , Georgia leads 20 - 13. Georgia defense gave up runs of 16 and 35 on last Alabama drive enabling them to get back in it .

I don't know. If UCF wants to try, I'm sure anyone in the SEC would put them on the schedule. I think several SEC schools have tried to flesh out their schedules a little more, but nobody wants to come down here to play. It looks like Notre Dame is the only team that wants to play outside the conference. The Ugly12 doesn't seem to travel much. KState came out here to play Vanderbilt and got spanked. A couple of other teams will still play transplants Arkansas and A&M. The PAC12 no longer travels much, although I think UCLA and Tennessee still play each other. A bit of trivia is that Peyton Manning started his UT career as 3rd string QB, but when starter Jerry Coquitt was injured against UCLA, both he and Todd Helton took snaps. A few weeks later Helton was hurt (more of a baseball guy, anyway), Manning was the starter.
