So far, I haven't seen any big upsets this week. There were several last week. (USC is currently ranked two spots above Notre Dame though)

Notre Dames largest ever halftime lead over USC was 31 - 0 by the 1966 Champs .

Does USC drop out of a top 25 they do not belong in ? Or do they stay ? Voters seem to have favorites as most of last years over ranked teams appeared this year again at the beginning of the season .

Beavers blow it , up 14 - 9 , with about two minutes remaining they fumble on own 40 . Stanford scores its first touchdown of the game with 20 seconds left to take a 15 - 14 lead .

Tough game for Iowa State today . Hoosiers give up a 45 yard run on Badgers first drive but intercept them and put together an 11 play 80 yard drive for a TD then stop the Badgers on a 3 and out . IU QB 100 yards passing in first quarter . Badgers DB's having trouble covering IU receivers so far . After one quarter IU 7 Wisconsin 0 , IU 2nd and 12 at Badger 16 to start the second quarter.

Muh Hoosiers still in the game , 19 minutes to play , down 24 - 17 to #9 Wisconsin . Need a big defensive effort from here .
