According to an article on Business Insider! I've put the link at the bottom of this post. Could this possibly be used by the Campaign, maybe be mentioned in an upcoming interview, to re introduce to the public the fact that they are not being given accurate information about the delegate counts (and other things, but just focusing on this) from the Mainstream, and that people are realizing this and turning to other mediums for more accurate information?

If the viewership decreasing this sharply can be attributed to media blackouts of certain candidates, their inaccurate portrayal of the delegate counts, and their trying to draw the narrative, it would help reassure and re motivate a lot of our soft support as well as open more eyes. Perhaps if we could get the numbers of views of Ben Swanns segments and see if they're inversely related to those of CNN and FOX, it would help the claim?

Just throwing it out there...Sorry if it seemed like a bunch of mumbo jumbo. Maybe someone else can see what I'm getting at and convey it more clearly.

Antiquated information source gives poor information. People seek out accurate and honest information from alternative sources of information.

Because they are all slime. Instead of putting on the air people that have true real life experience on things, they just bring in gossipers claiming to be experts. Their lack of respect for Ron Paul. Sure they dont have to support his views but he is still a current congressman.

I was already tuning out the MSM, but i tuned in for the Whitney Houstoun funeral. I got sick to my stomache as cnn chased down people to ask about the "Bobby Brown" incident.

Not sure if its good i mean sure there bias and all somewhat but there are also decent people working there that could lose there job i dont really think its good we should not wish for any one to lose there job.

Sounds like you would support "bail outs"

These stats could be used and framed effectively by the campaign if they wanted to.

all MSM should be replaced. we need a new mainstream

Viewership to these bastards indirectly means money. Cable/satellite fees directly means money. When people like me cancel their cable subscriptions, these bastard not only loose a viewer, they loose money two ways.

I'm not buying what these lying bastards have to sell.

With apologies to Timothy Leary, my advice is to Tune out, turn off, and drop cable.

I'll be completely honest, when I first heard the complaint that Dr. Paul was being "ignored by the mainstream media", I thought it was just a case of his supporters exaggerating.

However when I investigated further I realised that they weren't exaggerating at all.

I have to say the more I investigated the more shocked I became. I remember watching one news channel reporting the results of the Maine Caucus where Dr. Paul finished a very very close second and the newscaster reported the winner then skipped straight to who came in third and fourth without even a mention of Ron Paul.

My mouth fell open in astonishment.

I tune in to CNN occasionally but I watch at least a couple of hours of Fox News every day; however I find myself feeling more and more disappointed and angry by their coverage of Ron Paul, or should I say, lack of it. And when Dr. Paul is mentioned it's almost as if the people making the editorial decisions at the channel have told the staff, "Well mention him if you must, but make it quick, and don't say anything positive".

I wonder if Fox News realise just how much they are alienating viewers like me? I'm actually beginning to feel quite resentful and tuning in less and less as the weeks go by. If this bias continues I doubt I will be tuning in at all in a few months time.

No i just dont wish for people to lose there jobs its simple. I dont bail people out to do it.

And your the only person so far to mention "us" wishing for people to lose jobs. And nobody has said that. Lots and me included want close down various governemt agencies as well as shrink others. Those will be people losing jobs. But the message needs to be clear. No more big government. So same goes to the MSM. Keep reporting biased information and people will start to tune out and find better outlets for news. Sounds like the proper business cycle to me.

I think it is good that some should lose

Their jobs. Their viewership down is because they are delivering an inferior product. If they provide a fair and truthful coverage instead of propaganda, maybe more people may tune in.

It's good to see this trend. I haven't had a TV in 2 years so I'm helping contribute to the low numbers. :)

The overall trend in cable news is down but 50% of people didn't "wake up" in 30 days. It's a slow news cycle. It goes up and down.

Last year was a down year for Hollywood. This year is on pace for a new record - it's cyclical.

My biggest complaint about the MSM is that they spent 5 years saying the word unelectable while polls show electability was a top priority. This is the 4th branch fully well knowing they were practicing mind control. I can't exactly convince the wife to cancel our dish subscription though because there is entertainment available instead of propaganda. But I never watch cable news except for clips posted on the internet.

I say there should be an alternative channel that promotes liberty but there are so many establishment obstacles in place to stop it. We might as well stick to the internet.

It really has nothing to do with how they are reporting the delegate count and trying to make it seem like that is silly. People are simply not tuning into ANY TV as much these days, let alone 24 hour news. What internet started, smartphones are furthering when it comes to the death of using TV for information.

Hell...I used to have ESPN on almost 5 hours a day checking on scores, etc. And for the past 14 years or so, I don't even know what channel it is on my cable lineup.

Free market in action. Wouldn't it be great if somebody like a Peter Thiel would buy a cable network? Just sayin'.
