I got the impression from the beginning of the season that Huntsman's campaign objectives were to only get his name out there for the future, and set a pick (in basketball terminology) on Ron Paul in New Hampshire so his comrad Romney could come away with the win. The guy isn't on a number of primary ballots, yet he was running ads calling Ron Paul unelectable... talking about the issues of maybe breaking up a bank or two and gay marriage (both of which could have stolen potential votes away from Paul). I'm not saying that Paul would have won the state if Huntsman weren't in the race, but it sure would have been close.
I don't trust Huntsman by any stretch of the imagination, mostly because he throws the word trust around the most while he's worked for both Bush administrations, the McCain campaign, followed by the Obama administration... all administrations carrying on with the same agenda.
