I've been watching CNN since 11 AM (guess I'm a glutton for punishment) and all they've been talking about is Jon Huntsman. They interviewed his wife, his campaign staff, have replayed his interviews, stump speeches, etc. They've been setting him up hardcore. If we don't do well in NH, it's because of crap like this.

Well that sure worked out, huh CNN? :D

It did. The media, in a few days, single-handily took Huntsman from mid-single digits in New Hampshire to third place and about 17%. If they had another week they might have gotten away with their phony pumping.

I got the impression from the beginning of the season that Huntsman's campaign objectives were to only get his name out there for the future, and set a pick (in basketball terminology) on Ron Paul in New Hampshire so his comrad Romney could come away with the win. The guy isn't on a number of primary ballots, yet he was running ads calling Ron Paul unelectable... talking about the issues of maybe breaking up a bank or two and gay marriage (both of which could have stolen potential votes away from Paul). I'm not saying that Paul would have won the state if Huntsman weren't in the race, but it sure would have been close.

I don't trust Huntsman by any stretch of the imagination, mostly because he throws the word trust around the most while he's worked for both Bush administrations, the McCain campaign, followed by the Obama administration... all administrations carrying on with the same agenda.

^he's in his early 50s so i assume he's thinking about 2016 rather than simply 2012!^
