CNN reporter claims most OWS protesters are libertarians that support Ron Paul

Just watching CNN and the live reporter from the scene of one of the protests was asked if the protesters were supporting any particular party or candidate and said said many are libertarians and are supporting Ron. If any GOP primary voters were watching we just lost their vote. It was pretty bad, she actually made it sound like the majority of the protesters are Ron Paul supporting Libertarians.

I'm not scared of them, I'd prefer to charge them with some sort of sterilizing agent so they can't reproduce. But more importantly, the average american and especially primary voter realizes how insanely brainwashed these middle class entitled idiots are. You realize it's a national movement now that is in over 50 cities, many of whom DO support Ron and are fighting for real change. Get over yourself.

Good question I don't actually remember what they said, I heard OWS, although at this point I don't think the average GOP voter would even notice the difference

Surely you realize the view that these people are getting? And who are we kidding? Most of these protestors have been the leftist/hippie types. Even liberals that I have spoken with have admitted this, and they even think some of these kids are idiots.

Fox News is absolutely ripping these protests, whether you or I agree with them or not. I think it's awesome that people are coming around and supporting RP and I am glad that this isn't just a left of center protest. Everyone should be protesting.

That's the problem these protests can pose for RP. We need to wake people up and tell them that there are people from all over and of every ideology attending these, even if they are the minority. Until then, such recognition could be damaging.

I much prefer the Occupy the Fed movement over this, now that is Libertarian leaning.

I agree and that's where I've been protesting but I've been to OWS and take it from me, many there are RP supporters.

Yeah, I've seen all of them plus about 100 more. Point being, as many Ron Paul supporters are there, it's a tiny minority, and of all the signs I see on tv there are 100 "class war ahead" "end capitalism" "eat the rich" etc for every 1 "end the fed"
It's about political common sense, we don't want to be painted in a broad stroke with anything to do these folks
