CNN post-debate national poll: Rand in 8th

Bernie isn't quite antiwar is he?

He's not as anti war as Ron. I would say that he's about the same as Rand, except that a lot of Ron Paul supporters think that Bernie is more non interventionist since he supported the Iran deal. I think a lot of them just like Bernie as well because he's "anti establishment," while Rand has tried to make himself look more mainstream.

I always opposed the idea of a independent run but I am getting to the point of supporting it. Rand being a good party man has not helped him anymore than Ron being a rebel. Seeing Rands negatives going up has really started to push me out of the republican party. I thought the party would be moving toward the non intervention side of things. NOT. If Rand ran as a independent against Hilary, jeb or trump I think he could pull quite a chunk of voters.

Rand can't run as a 3rd Party candidate since he took the pledge not to run 3rd Party. It would have to be Ron instead of Rand.

I don't think it is legally binding except maybe to kick him out of the party.

what is he raging about?

All of the criticism of Trump is just going to help him in the polls. People are sick of the political correctness. Trump has no obligation to attack his supporters. That would just be stupid. The media just seems to me going out of their way to help Trump by attacking him for not being politically correct.

It's a good conversation for us to have.

As much as I hate trump I still think this is trivial. The only thing that I can say critical is the way he answered is the way he answers all policy question. "We'll look into to it and fix it." He probably doesn't even care or listen to what his stupid supporters ask him only give the same answer for everything. "We'll look into it and fix it."

A good friend of mine lives in NH and is very libertarian in ideals, supported Ron in 08-12. He likes Rand and from what he sees on the ground thinks he is going to win NH. Also said he is gonna vote for Sanders in primary not on issues but because he doesn't pander, doesn't have to guess where he stands and wants to do his best to stop Clinton. But said in general would vote Rand over sanders if given the choice. Hes a very smart guy but I really don't follow his logic on this. Take it as you will.

to be honest, Rand (and you and I by extension) is still light years ahead of the GOP base on the issues.
