CNN Exit Polls!!! GREAT NEWS!!!

I was really glad to see Paul took the majority of the "other Christian" vote; it made me happy to know that SOME evangelicals actually get it.

It'll be interesting to see the results.

This could be bad for us though; if Romney takes Nevada (likely), and he also takes South Carolina (somewhat likely), it'll give him a TON of momentum...enough to possibly take Florida. If he gets all 3, I hate to say it, but it's very likely he'll be the Republican nominee. :(

Still, I stand by Dr. Paul until the end; no matter what; even if I was his only supporter, I'd still vote for him.

Christian /= Evangelical.

That depression generation is mostly gone now. It's the early edge baby boomers who are causing this. Their parents lived through a depression and so will their children. But as long as they get theirs, it's all good. Selfish fucking boomers. It's not enough that they will be the last to collect social security, they have to make the landing even harder for us.

they'll be in for a rude awakening this year (there WILL be a crash) with Romney or Hillary running the white-house...the only thing they'll know how to do is pump money into the system...which will only make it worse.

Ron's the only one that could handle a depression...

Honestly, even though i hate all the other candidates, I'd rather have Romney as a potential nominee then Huckabee or Giuliani.

I feel dirty even saying THAT, but somehow he seems less evil then those other 2.

Anybody is better than Huckabee or Giuliani.... except perhaps McCain....

It doesn't matter who the republican nom is. The next president will either be Paul of Hillary. The Republicans really fucked this one up. Like it or not, they'll be up against the 'Perot factor' as Paul will go third party. Dumb fucktards! By voting for 'electibility' they ironically all but guaranteed that Hillary will be the next president.

Does this mean that Mormons are block voters like various other groups. Maybe its because he share common values. 95% of the Mormon vote is certainly higher than the % of the Catholic vote for Kennedy in 1960. If so does this mean Ron Paul would have won if they had voted in similar % as every other group. Just curious?

The only thing important is the delegates. The news is reporting STRAW POLLS. Those do NOT win elections. Delegates are everything.

With a guy that can lie straight to his supporters faces without a flinch that is scary...RON PAUL OR BUST!!!

Yes, most definitely. It's blind loyalty. Check out this post from this thread yesterday http://www.ronpaulforums.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=994181:

There have been a lot of discouraging comments about the high concentration of Mormons (Latter Day Saints) in Nevada and how Mitt Romney will trounce us.

This is fatalistic and entirely unwarranted!

I am a Mormon. I lived in Nevada. My children were both born in Las Vegas. I still have friends and family in Nevada.

It is never too late too convert a Mormon to Ron Paul! He is easily the most "Mormon" candidate in this race. Why? Because the constitution is considered to be a divinely inspired document to all Mormons! Next to our holy scriptures, there is not another document that we hold in so much esteem.

Include several references to the constitution in your caucus speech.

Talk to any Mormons you know TODAY and ask them how they feel about the constitution. Ask them who they think would make a better president, a man who said that he would have to consult his lawyers to decide if the constitution allows for an undeclared preemptive war like we are waging (Romney) or a man who has dedicated his entire political career to defending the constitution at every opportunity.

If you do not do this as much as possible, you will have missed a tremendous opportunity.

I would be happy to hear from anyone who tries this and does not have a very positive experience.

True, but we can not get delegates, if we do not place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd and force the media to pay attention and report about Ron Paul, so old people, who watch TV, and vote in large numbers, and have no internet, can see that a guy named Ron Paul, is running for President.

Then, Maybe we can start winning delegates.

This is very ture. However, most americans dont know this. It is also important that RP does well in the straw poll so the rest of america knows how he is doing compared to the other candidates.

i should have read your comment before i posted mine :D

35% NV voters believe Ron Paul says what he believes!

And then not all of them are voting for him! What's going on here! They vote for candidates who say something and believe in something else!!
