CNN Exit Polls!!! GREAT NEWS!!!

I really hope so, but here at my caucus location in Las Vegas it was all Romney. Whole families came in support.

I hear ya. There's no question Romney won huge. A second would be very nice, though. Maybe people would start believing he is "electable."

old people gave this to romney, we need euthanasia!

As in other states, we're not doing well with the female vote. Need to reconsider female suffrage.:D

By the way, has anyone looked at the photos of the candidates that CNN is using? They are all shown smiling except for . . . yes, you guessed it!

the old people are not "stupid" but they DO NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS! and are blinded by MSM. Very Important Point is to gotv in Person! Make them aware of whats really happening in the world. They are not online; and therefore not educated.

I second the "old people" sentiment. They vote on things that affect us for 50+ years, yet they are around for only 10-20 more.

Unfortunately, that's the way of things, and we just have to sway them over. Talk about the great depression (they actually remember that a bit more), and how our policies are taking their grandkids right back to living through another one. Then explain that Ron Paul knows about it, and is planning on protecting their grandkids.

If that doesn't work, then call Dr. Kevorkian ;)

(To all the older folks: JUST KIDDING!!!)

We always complain about young voter apathy, but does anyone know the actually percentage of people in the 18-29 year old age bracket in the population at large? 11% of the vote today was from them, but if somehow everyone was forced to vote, what would that percentage be?

I think our foreign policy probably hurts in the Rep. primaries but would really be catalyst for us in the national election. Old people tended to vote for Thompson or McCain, Families/Mormons voted for Romney, and Guiliani got the displaced New Yorker vote.

I am in that age demo and I was the only one in precinct for Paul. The person supposed to run as a delegate didn't even show up so I took the bull by the horns so to speak.

I was really glad to see Paul took the majority of the "other Christian" vote; it made me happy to know that SOME evangelicals actually get it.

It'll be interesting to see the results.

This could be bad for us though; if Romney takes Nevada (likely), and he also takes South Carolina (somewhat likely), it'll give him a TON of momentum...enough to possibly take Florida. If he gets all 3, I hate to say it, but it's very likely he'll be the Republican nominee. :(

Still, I stand by Dr. Paul until the end; no matter what; even if I was his only supporter, I'd still vote for him.

I don't know if this has been posted....is Nevada a "winner-takes-all" state with regard to delegates?

HOLY SH*T

Unless I'm reading this wrong, this looks like second place!

:D:D:D

I'm just going to assume I'm reading it wrong and go back to hoping/praying for a miracle third place finish.

That depression generation is mostly gone now. It's the early edge baby boomers who are causing this. Their parents lived through a depression and so will their children. But as long as they get theirs, it's all good. Selfish fucking boomers. It's not enough that they will be the last to collect social security, they have to make the landing even harder for us.

It's a lot lower since Roe vs. Wade in 1973. So from 1991 on that percentage has been declining. It won't go back up again until the baby boomers start dying.
