CNN Economic Plan Challenge for Presidential Candidates (Andy Serwer)

Maybe because he knows Paul's Economic Plan, he doesn't have to challenge. Though some recognition either way should be expected, especially now that there are only 6 total candidates (I heard someone on the radio news say 5 last night).

Wow, think I actually got a human responding:

Actually, I am AMAZED that no one else on this Forum is replying to this!

Dr. Paul will BLOW all of these candidates out of the water with his Economic Plan and prove to the voters that he is the ONLY choice for a more prosperous USA.

How to ensure that Dr. Paul's reply to this challenge will be AIRED by Andy Serwer, and without any malicious editing is another matter.

Speak up people!

Sent the following letter,

Dear Sir/Madam,

I watched Andy Serwer's video "Candidates: Get a Plan".

I would like to point out that the video did not mention Presidential Candidate Ron Paul. The Ron Paul campaign has a plan that differentiates itself from the other campaigns.

Additionally, I would like to point out that Peter Schiff and Don Luskin are economic advisors to the Ron Paul campaign.

Kindest regards,

Please maybe send that article where it is already in (supposedly) the glenn beck newsletter. As with all letters to anyone, please state that they place the letter in their FCC public file so it can not be thrown away. Tell him he is not looking very hard if he can not find this plan as other media have already printed it, and he got a press release about it. I can not do this as I am not a
member of his..I already tried. If you post the editor's email address I will send him a letter.

What an ass-bag. Here's what I sent:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I watched Andy Serwer's video "Candidates: Get a Plan" and noticed it did not include an invitation to Dr. Ron Paul. I believe he has an outstanding economic plan, which is available on his website: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/press-releases/163/ron-paul-unveils-a-real-economic-stimulus-plan

I appreciate your looking at Dr. Paul's plan and giving consideration to extending an invitation for him to take part in the challenge. Perhaps you could invite one of Dr. Paul's economic advisor's instead, Peter Schiff or Don Luskin, to comment on the stimulus plan.

Kindest regards,

To whom it may concern:

Regarding Andy Serwer's challenge to Presidential candidates regarding their economic stimulus plans, I must note that Congressman Ron Paul was left off of his list. Dr. Ron Paul has already created a stimulus plan, it is readily available on his website, and press releases went out regarding the plan's availability. I am not sure if this was an oversight or not, but please place my letter in Fortune's FCC Public File - as I believe giving a candidate equal time, especially during this critical time of primaries, is in the public's best interest.

Here is a link to Dr. Paul's stimulus plan, if you do not have it already:

Thank you for your time -

I sent notice to RonPaul2008 DailyDose. They should cover this too.

Can we change the title to:

CNN/Fortune Economic Plan Challenge EXCLUDES Dr. Paul!

Please?

I know it was bad that they didn't mention RP, but I don't know if I'd say that he is 'excluded' from the opportunity itself. I just interpreted it as "contact me with your plan so I can see what you've got."

Bad that they didn't mention Ron for sure, but doesn't mean he's not willing to take a look either. I'm going to write and play dumb - something along the lines of

"I noticed you didn't mention RP, I assume this is an open invitation for all candidates still in the race though"

Be polite in your requests.
