CNN Early Start Blondie Tried To Push Huntsman But Failed!

I stand corrected. The main point is that he was never directly involved in war and has no experience of it. RP on the other hand was a flight surgeon for 5 years of Vietnam, and he did see actual war service - the only one of the entire group (including Obama of course).

I'm not defending Perry mind you, but the main point is a little faulty. Perry served from 1972-75. He wasn't involved in a war because there was no war during those times. It's not like the guy dodged the war like Newt, he simply is not old enough or young enough to have served during war time.

Perry was of age to go to war in 1968... he sat out those four years in college. He took a path which looks awfully like those that are designed to technically hit the military service checkbox while ensuring he'd never ever have the slightest chance of being in the line of fire.

Just to be clear I'm not dismissing Perry's service entirely. I give him half a point. And that's a half point more than the rest of the crowd. Perry's not really in the race anymore except pro forma. He has no support and isn't going to get any with all the times he stuck his foot in his mouth.

Forget the placing. Huntsman was the only candidate to skip Iowa, and has spent all his time, effort and money in New Hampshire, and will probably get around 18% of the vote. That's pitiful. Huntsman is at 2% nationally if he's lucky, and has no prospects going forward from New Hampshire. Honestly, if Huntsman finished first there he'd still have nowhere to go, but a very distant second or third? Really can't imagine what Huntsman thinks he's going to do with a tenuous bronze medal in a small northeastern state; how that's going to propel him anywhere.

You're not going to win any voters over by saying something like "Ron Paul's service counted for MORE than Perry's." Let that go.

Ugh, more Huntsman promotion. Surprise, surprise.

And more smearing of Ron Paul on the newsletters.

CNN "Ron Paul wants to cut 1 trillion out of the economy day one. There would be no economy."

I a telling you folks, the see the writing on the wall. Ron Paul 2nd in NH is huge.

Now they roll out David Frum, " Ron Pauls economic plan is that he is running to expand his direct mailer list, and that is all".
