Clint Eastwood supported Trump in 2016 and now supports Bloomberg

As he drives me back to my hotel, he expresses an affinity for another former mayor: “The best thing we could do is just get Mike Bloomberg in there.”

I doubt "in there" is White House.

Maybe read Bloomberg's full remarks- this was taken out of context by Trump/Bernie supporters to blast Bloomberg. And, NO, I am not a Bloomberg supporter. I just question everything.

Bloomberg, Nov. 17, 2016: If you think about it, the agrarian society lasted 3,000 years, and we can teach processes. I can teach anybody – even people in this room, so no offense intended – to be a farmer. It’s a process. You dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on top, you add water, up comes corn. You can learn that. Then you had 300 years of the industrial society. You put the piece of metal on the lathe, you turn the crank in direction of arrow and you can have a job. And we created a lot of jobs. At one point, 98% of the world worked in agriculture. Today it’s 2% of the United States.

Now comes the information economy and the information economy is fundamentally different because it’s built around replacing people with technology, and the skill sets that you have to learn are how to think and analyze. And that is a whole degree level different. You have to have a different skill set. You have to have a lot more gray matter. It’s not clear the teachers can teach or the students can learn. And so the challenge of society is to find jobs for these people. …

That's what I saw in the first video clip of his remarks, contrary to to what his campaign is saying.

And it remains as tone deaf and off-putting as when Biden says out of work miners should just "learn to code"...dismissing the people who keep you alive as mere feudal toilers rummaging about in filth. It's the same mindset that wants to put me in jail for keeping your lights on and your house warm, I suppose.

Politics aside, the man has the personal warmth and charm of C. Montgomery Burns...as I watched him get bitch slapped around by Warren, I was waiting for him to say "Release the hounds!"

Nothing like Trump. Donald Trump has a personality, compassion and a love for his country. Bloomberg loves himself, definitely loves the fact that he has made astronomical money off China and he loves to dictate to people. He is all for imposing taxes on people for climate change, he thinks guns should be taken away and he thinks most Americans are fat/unhealthy and should be taxed for being fat/unhealthy. He is an advocate of late term abortions and he is also for no medical treatment for people over a certain age.

Again do your due diligence and check it out for yourself.

AGAIN: I am NOT a supporter of Bloomberg. That said. Trump has also made mucho bucks off China, supports "take the guns first" and is dealing with Israel to further imprison the Palestinians & start a full-fledged war on Iran.

In my opinion they are both POS.

Didn't say you were a supporter of Bloomberg but you made this comment: "My POV is that Eastwood sees little difference in the two but Bloomberg is known to be more genteel and not publicly insulting to anyone who disagrees with him, so he's not as big an embarrassment as Trump can be." While saying that I tried to point out where you knowing what Clint Eastwood is thinking is wrong.

Besides I do not like to gage my POV on what any celebrity thinks or says.

I was not presupposing what Eastwood was thinking. I was rephrasing Eric Margolis, who is one of the most trustworthy freedom journalists around. He was poking fun at all the dem candidates but mostly at Bloomberg's lack of readiness for the debate. He did say:

I got a good read on Bloomberg when I had an intimate dinner with him some years ago. Rather than the stiff, unsmiling man we saw on TV in Las Vegas, in real life Bloomberg is clearly brilliant yet understated, charming, and endowed with a sharp sense of humor and quick wit.

Not much luck talking to Obongo J. Trump.

IIRC, Bloomberg did an interview that was essentially excusing and possibly admiring the Chinese way of governing. Not what you want to hear from a POTUS candidate. He wants to be Big Brother.

Probably another billionaire that wants to emulate the Chinese model:

China is the Model for US Billionaires, Crony Corporatists and Authoritarian Kleptocrats

Absolutely, China is the globalist's role model to be at the head of the One World Government, It's not a conspiracy theory anymore, the handwriting is on the wall.

Out of rep.

Out of rep.
Why?

Trump is standing up to China's trade warfare, hasn't done anything serious against guns and has refused to start a war with Iran while getting us out of Afghanistan.
And his proposed peace deal is better than what the Palestinians currently have and is less than what Israel would give then on its own, they will find that out if they keep rejecting it.

Eastwood is a fool, Trump's demeanor gets him far more votes than it loses and it speaks truth to the people.

i got admit it they put him up I will be vote for OMB

I think it's Orange Man Bad.
It should be BOM, Bad Orange Man.

To be fair, Obama supporters had not coined BMB acronym pre 2016 election when GOPA leader had made a skin color statement that sort of said BMB.
To honor those Obama supporters, perhaps use of OMB should be retired.
