Why would libertarians love her? What is the basis for even making that claim?

Warren sometimes gets things right, but even Obama sometimes gets things right. And it's not like she's the next Dennis Kucinich, who on many issues could be relied on to vote the right way, even if he was wrong on everything else.

Apparently he talked to a couple LP members who were activists for Sean Haugh, the beer-drinking LP candidate for Senate, and that couple of people said they liked Warren. That (in his mind) somehow translated into "Libertarians love Elizabeth Warren."

I don't hate her.

She needs to get a real damn job though.

That and people who enjoy bossing people around, or who think themselves as wise enough to fully comprehend the intricacies and the variables of human behavior are the last sort of people I'd ever want to be around. Goddamned Rousseaus.

I understand liking a principled progressive; they're anti-war, against drug prohibition, against subsidy and against big banks (sometimes even anti-Fed). Justin Raimondo made a good argument explaining why he supported Ralph Nader a few elections ago, and Dennis Kucinich was more of a liberty-ally than 90% of neocons.

Elizabeth Warren on the other hand, isn't a principled progressive. She's too afraid to even come out for legalizing weed. I think a big chunk of her supporters among Democrats don't even actually know who she is or what she's about. I have lots of progressive friends who seem to think she's come out against the drug war, called for massive monetary reform, auditing the Fed, withdrawing all the troops, all sorts of BS she never did. Preogrssives just hear she's "one of us" from liberal blogs and just fill in the blanks, regardless of the truth.

A lot like how the GOP Establishment has some Tea Partiers convinced that some serious establishmentarians are actually Tea, I suppose.

I have a very strong dislike for her, and here's why...because Elizabeth Warren talks about government exactly the same way that Mike Huckabee talks about Jesus. The difference being that Mike Huckabee's faith in Jesus - no matter how strong - can help or hurt nobody besides Mike Huckabee himself; yet history is rife with bloody reminders that one misguided idealogue's faith in government can spell death and destruction for millions.

I had no place to vote ... There are some things about Warren that I do like. I do like her plans to break up the banksters, resulting in a break up of the Federal Reserve. I do like that Obama worked 24/7 to convince her to run against Hiltary the Hun and she wouldn't be swayed. I don't know nearly enough about her, but would like to know more .. She is very well spoken, well educated, very impressive. And I am registered as a Libertarian. I do not believe she is bought and paid for. There may be some political issues I do not agree with her; but I believe she is honest in her views and not tainted by Globalist interests. For this reason, I would consider voting for her. Other than Rand Paul, all other candidates are simple New Orleans whores.

Who cares that she mentioned she is an American Indian. I'm half American Indian ... Anyone born in the United States should have Indian blood in them.

...unfortunately, i suspect replacing 'elizabeth warren' with 'ted cruz' would have yielded many more 'love him' votes...

...ime, sadly, 'liberty' voters are as clueless as warren voters...
