Citing armed protesters, BLM returns seized cattle to Nevada rancher

One of the big risks in having unorganized armed groups of people on your side. You can't be sure who is really on your team.
Except that the protesters (especially the armed ones) and the militia were intent on NOT starting it.

Anyone intent on starting shit would have been immediately recognized.
And beyond that,, had shooting actually started the BLM and Rangers would have been in a world of shit. They did not like being in that position.

They were all targeted and they knew it. I could hear the nervousness in their voices. (They were the ones in the Kill Zone)

An Agent Provocateur in that place and at that time would have gotten Government Agents killed.

Fuck the feds. Good to see some people still have their balls in this country.

We know that, but do the government agents?

We know that, but do the government agents?

At the point of confrontation late in the day,, I am quite sure they did.

There was a Highway Patrol transmission (on the wrong channel) I was listening to their public channel.

They had confirmed intel of 200 Scoped rifles.. plus more long guns in the crowd.. They knew that.

I suspect that there were many more rifles more carefully concealed. there were known militia in the area for days before this and more on the way.

HP dispatch chatter also mentioned 3 groups of over 100 bikes.. inbound.

They may be stupid Government serving pukes,, but they can't be that stupid. They packed up and bugged out in a hurry.

This was posted on another forum. Brings a smile to my face. If they want to escalate with air power, go right ahead. Sure, some of us will be smoldering corpses, but you don't get to sleep easy at night.

Well..the Freefor Does not necessarily have to actually get to the site of the confrontation to count coup. Any Vet can affirm that seven or so support personnel are required for each trigger squeezer. They are mechanics, loaders, beancounters, fuel handlers, truckdrivers, cooks and bottle washers. True there is lots of air support, but they have to return to SOME base, sometime. In the event of shooting, that base is fair game. The roads they use, the homes they go to, they are all targets of opportunity, and certainly less well guarded. Proper surveillance and name-taking now can be invaluable WHEN (not if) the time comes. A squad or two of determined individuals with a few .50 Barretts can ground a considerable fleet of AC with well placed shots. Perhaps we game our local place of the base and play what if…. The best shots fired can be a hundred miles from the scene of main action and do considerable good

Lets plan on giving them many fronts instead of gathering like idiots in a single place….

These homeboys need badly to experience Fourth Generation Warfare first hand. Let Them handle it here like they could not do in Vietnam, Iraq and Afganistan… Those deskriding bastards need a dose of reality, BAD. Let’s give it to them. HOORAH..

Exclusive: BLM Claims It Will “Stand Down” In Nevada, Snipers, Agents and No Fly Zone Remain In Place
By: Ben Swann Apr 13, 2014

A small victory for liberty activists across the country as the Bureau of Land Management announced Saturday that it would stand down in its operations of rounding up cattle from Nevada rancher Clive Bundy. As we reported, the BLM ended its operation of rounding up Bundy’s cattle after hundreds of protestors rallied to the family’s side. Hundreds more protestors are on the way.

“Due to escalating tensions, the cattle have been released from the enclosures in order to avoid violence and help restore order,” the U.S. Bureau of Land Management said in a short statement after releasing nearly 400 cattle.

What most media won’t tell you however, is that while the BLM has been ordered to stand down, their agents have not been ordered to leave the area around the Bundy ranch. In fact, that is not happening, as those nearly 200 federal agents including snipers have not left the area.

Sources on the ground in Nevada tell Benswann.com, “They spotted night time activity in the hills surrounding the Bundy property. After catching about an hours sleep they awoke to see three snipers skulking in the bush surrounding the camps that people have set up. The people who have been there are not leaving and more are still coming in from all over the US. The airspace over the Bundy ranch has been shut down in a 3 mile, 30,000 feet perimeter so that no private helicopters or planes can fly over to take pictures or survey what the feds are up to.”

It is important to note that the FAA instituted its “no fly zone” over and around the Bundy’s property only hours before the BLM announced it would stand down. The FAA has not lifted the no fly zone and says it will remain in place until May 11, 2014.

Sources go on to say, “So far Federal Agents are still trolling the roads, surveilling the territory and the camps in big black SUVs with blacked out windows. We need more numbers out there. There’s a Federal Express outlet in St. George, Utah on South Airport Rd. If need be get ready to send supplies. If the government decides to shut the roads down to try to contain the numbers of people coming in to take a stand the supply lines could be compromised.”

I'm a little behind on this issue...All I can say is...How many more 3 letter alphabet agencies exist out there that have control over our land and property and rights?

BLM, I had no clue existed. Seems like every month a new one is popping up.

What we have here is an alphabet soup.

The great thing in all this is that Obama has revealed to everyone now that he doesn't have the stones for a real fight. He rolled over. He's a pussy and all fear he's built up just went out the window. You'll start to see the snowball from here.

Are you serious? The stones? Are you one of those GOP cheerleaders who believe Obama isn't "tough enough"? This is America, the President and the government is SUPPOSED to be scared of the people. THEY SERVE US! I bet you wish there was some (R) in office who was "tough enought" to stand up to the people they were elected to represent?

Not sure if this was before after the cows were set free but what's said in the video sounds like it was after.

It'd be nice if the people of Clark county elected a constitutional sheriff by the time the BLM got around to trying anything again.

I look for these federal low-lifes to "try something" sooner than later.

They couldn't be bothered to interrupt beer-n-brats with family and friends over the weekend but now that their work week is upon them it'll be face saving time.

Can't be having a bunch of uppity rednecks getting out of hand....

"These people" must be named and exposed!

There are enough pictures of the governments agents floating around it's time to put names and addresses to the faces.

If these people are comfortable waging war on Americans it's only right that Americans know when they mobilize...

You can bet your ass "they" already have the names and addresses of every man, woman and child who stood with the Bundy family....

Looks like the Canadian media has started; :D

‘Frame’ BLM’s Neil Kornze in a poster before BLM returns to Bundy Ranch

http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/62404

The high-handed, armed sniper-backed Bureau of Land Management, which retreated from Cliven Bundy’s Nevada ranch on Saturday, will be back. BLM will be back because they never go away. Their harassment campaigns against hard-working land owners and ranchers goes back more than 20 years.

For 20 long years, BLM members have worked non-stop at what boils down to trying to frame Rancher Cliven Bundy.

It is time to ‘frame’ Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid point man Neil Kornze. Frame him in the kind of poster that identified cattle rustlers down at the local post office in days of yore. That way, Kornze no longer rides the drifted plains as a faceless bureaucrat but as someone everyone can readily identify as the perp.

Postering Kornze brings him out of the bureaucratic hide-y-hole known as the present day BLM and puts him where he belongs—at the head of the agency that is robbing ranchers of their way of life.

Kornze joined the BLM in 2011 and has been leading the agency as principal deputy director for the past year. Some 71 senators—including 16 Republican ones—installed him to his seat of power. Only 28 senators—all Republican—cast votes against him.

Republican Senator Dean Heller-Nev, who voted for Kornze’s confirmation, was, over the weekend, decrying the restriction of First Amendment protests, saying it “tramples upon Nevadans’ fundamental rights under the U.S. Constitution”, a switcheroo he seems to have so far gotten away with.

The territory of which 71 senators put Kornze in charge includes more than 245 million acres of public land nationwide—with 48 million acres located in Nevada.

Many protesters who came to the rescue of Cliven Bundy in Bunkerville were spurred to answer the call of justice because they believe it is not the Desert Tortoise BLM used as an excuse to remove Bundy’s cattle but the Harry Reid-sanctioned Western Solar Plan.

“Kornze was a key player in the development of the Western Solar Plan and the agency’s successful authorization of more than 10,000 megawatts of renewable energy, surpassing a congressionally-established goal 3 years ahead of schedule. He has also been active in tribal consultation, especially as it relates to oil and gas and renewable energy development. (Dept. of the Interior)

“In 2012, investigative reporter Marcus Stern blew open a deal Reid and his son had arranged with a Chinese company to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert. The BLM helpfully expressed its opinion that trespassing cattle would need to be removed in order to make way for the deal. Although the project ultimately failed, it represents part of a pattern by Reid to seize land to give to special interests in order to benefit himself, his family and campaign contributors. Similarly, in 2010, Reid’s campaign received thousands of dollars in donations from a Texas wind farm’s backers, which Reid rewarded with $450 million in federal stimulus funds. ()

The following description of the Western Solar Plan comes directly from the BLM website:

The Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for solar energy provides a blueprint for utility-scale solar energy permitting in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah, the Department of the Interior stated.
The Solar PEIS will establish solar energy zones in each state, with access to existing or planned transmission, incentives for development within those zones and a process by which the Department of the Interior can consider additional zones and projects.
According to the Department of the Interior, an initial set of 17 Solar Energy Zones, totaling about 285,000 acres of public lands, serve as priority areas for commercial-scale solar development.
According to a map of the Solar Energy Zones, much of the land selected—153,627 acres—is in the state of California. Most of that is in the Riverside East Zone in the Palm Springs-South Coast/Riverside area.
Nevada is second behind California in regards to zoned acres, with 60,395. Nevada also has the most designated solar zones, with five. Colorado follows, with four zoned locations.
The areas were selected for their solar resources, access to existing or planned transmission and relatively low conflict with biological, cultural and historic resources.
If fully built out, the department stated, projects in these areas could provide up to 23,700 megawatts of energy—enough to power 7 million homes.
The final PEIS was released in July, featuring a comprehensive analysis of the lands in these states that are most suitable for solar energy development, according to the Department of the Interior. The analysis was done in partnership with the Department of Energy and the locations identified were Bureau of Land Management areas.
Salazar signed the Record of Decision that finalizes the PEIS while at an event in Las Vegas with Senator Harry Reid, the department noted.
“Energy from sources like wind and solar have doubled since the President took office,” Salazar said, “and with today’s milestone, we are laying a sustainable foundation to keep expanding our nation’s domestic energy resources.”
Kornze doesn’t just walk zombie-like in the footsteps of Harry Reid, he walks the walk of the United Nations and its takeover plan of the USA known as Agenda 21.

Because Bunkerville is right in the backyard of CFP columnist/former Las Vegas city councillor Steve Miller, patriots waiting for the inevitable return of BLM have an ace in the hole.

Gutsy Miller tracks crime and corruption for AmericanMafia.com, where he takes on crime and corruption in present day Las Vegas, reporting under the motto: “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”.

To Miller, tracking the misdeeds of BLM is a piece of cake.

“What happened in Nevada on the weekend, happened right here in my own backyard,” Miller told Canada Free Press last night.

“BLM is supposedly doing this in the name of cows and turtles which is a slap in the face to any thinking person.”

Not a peep from the hypocritical radical environmentalists and their animal rights activist sidekicks about the cruelty of the feds in running off Bundy’s cattle: The feds flew helicopters overhead to chase the cattle, knowing full well it could cause them to collapse from running in the 90-degree heat.” (TownHall April 14, 2014)

Miller said the protesters who flooded in to the Bundy Ranch from California, Arizona, Montana, Utah and other states recreated a scene straight out of the Old West.

“They came by horseback carrying guns and flags, taking us back to the day when neighbors were neighbors and sheriffs were sheriffs.

“Some of my friends lost their properties to Eminent Domain as many as 10 to 15 years ago.

“Other ranchers sold out, but Bundy’s not going anywhere.

“If BLM comes back, we’ll still be here,” Miller said.

Not sure if this was before after the cows were set free but what's said in the video sounds like it was after.

I believe that was when they were moving out.

Another video as they were getting ready to release the cows,, they counted 83 vehicles on one side of the highway..
BLM had a lot of resources there.
