Well when you see 8% of RPF bolting from the "don't vote the lesser of two evils" that was practically a cornerstone of the RP campaign, I am sure that the less hardcore (the ones that don't live on these boards) probably ran to the big box parties in much greater numbers.
There is a silver lining I suppose. we can;t be demonized for "costing" McCain the election. McCain just failed to deliver. I have heard the GOP feels they must move even farther left, if they do that in 2010 third parties could explode.
It's win-win. Either the GOP comes back home, or they continue to move left and leave conservatives/libertarians/constitutionalists no option.
