   Have not seen any evidence either way but there is certainly motive for Israeli interests to cultivate support for US aid to Egyptian military dictatorship and against Muslim Brotherhood and perhaps Coptic Christians also. MB and Coptic Christians share same strategic goals, both communities co-existed peacefully for centuries and civil war between MB and Coptic Christians benefits foreign interests more than it benefits either one of them.

Are you kidding me? They are the ones who helped usher in the Muslim Brotherhood and gave them mainstream credibility as a political movement. Secondly, after that bloody day of 500 deaths Obama actually admonished the Egyptian military for being too rough, when they were being ambushed all over. Obama likes to play both sides, since he is a CIA product, but his administration is the one who has groomed, supplied and protected this entire organization.

The Muslim Brotherhood was elected with the majority of the Egyptian vote.
