Chris Christie Endorses Donald Trump

Trump is supported by Chris Christie and opposed by Ron Paul. That tells you something.

The last republican nominee that Ron Paul endorsed was Ronald Reagan. Nothing new here. He doesn't endorse since he has maintains extremely high standards.

Bit surprising... but "smart" move politically on part of Christie.
Be interesting to see how neocons' owners react to this.

They are still infuriated that Christie stopped Rubio's momentum after Iowa.

Is this a veiled threat? Rubin and Wilson are drawing the lines for future reprisals! This is unbelievable! Trump is actually fracturing the GOP and these fools are broadcasting it!

Governor of Maine Paul LePage just endorsed Trump on a radio show.

Christie was probably offered something in Trump's administration, VP or AG being the best bets. From the red meat he was throwing evangelicals today, I wouldn't be surprised if he picked Ben Carson as his running mate to fortify his position with the Christian right.

Rand's endorsement was only for the general election, not the primaries.

Beat me too it. Rand's choices were endorse nobody, endorse a democrat or endorse the nominee. The logic fail was on openfire's part.

Trump or Clinton will win. You can have your civil liberties or your 2nd amendment, but not both. Which do you prefer to keep?

 When did Hillary Clinton start supporting the 2nd amendment? Because Donald Trump certainly doesn't.

Dems and Reps are both wrong on guns
It’s often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions.

For assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check
I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record.

As for your "Either Hillary or Trump is going to be president", you realize that the primaries aren't over yet right? Seriously the "lesser of too evils" argument is over the top stupid when there are still other people in the race. Why "stump for Trump" at this point when Trump isn't even the nominee? I can see why Chris Christie is doing it. He's an opportunistic pig. By why are you doing it? It's not like if people vote for someone else (Ted Cruz. Rand Paul. Whoever.) that your "lesser of two evils" calculus changes one iota. And you have the nerve to say other people were having a "logic fail." I'm not voting for Trump in the primary. At this point I'm having to decide who I want to stop worse, Trump or Clinton. Do I vote for Cruz to try to stop Trump or do I vote for Bernie to try to stop Clinton? If you're right, and neither can be stopped, I'll jump off that bridge without a parachute once I get there.
